Answer:	It does have an expiration date stamped right on the bottle. It will work well past the expiration date. When shipped new it should have a year + on the expiration date.

Answer:	According to Henkel (loctite owner) it is one year. I however have used this after opening several times and haven't had an issue in the couple years I've had it.

Answer:	It does seem to expand slightly as it hardens. I think that's how it locks things in place.

Answer:	the expiration date is a code, you have to contact loctite to decipher the code

Answer:	I don't know the shelf life or how long it would keep, but I have used this and other Loctite products, just making sure its kept capped. A little bit goes a long way. These products has been on my work bench for some 5 years or more, on personal note I have used this and other Loctite recently on projects with no effect on its performance.
