However im not exactly happy with the Mccombo units since the panels come in 2 pieces and are joined together with a plastic spacer. During high winds theyve seperated and flew off into the woods. Ive seen a very similiar product with a one piece panel, that's the one I would get since Ive had to reinforce my 2 piece with aluminum strips and tape..Go for the one piece panel by a different manufacturer.

Answer:	The width of the door is not the issue. I don't believe 6 inches is enough...however, remember that this is a retractable awning...so if it was "closed" instead of fully retracted, you should have no problem. We don't hand retract it unless we are going to use it because we can have sudden, intense WINDY storms here in Florida

Answer:	Since installing awning winds have been up to 40 mph without any problems. Hopefully it will withstand 60 mph just hasn't happened yet.

Answer:	Manual comes with the awning package. Could have more info on putting together and problems that you may encounter, have not tried to contact their web sight.

Question:	Can I use this for my commercial food truck
Answer:	Depending on how big or heavy your truck is. The canopy apparatus is very heavy. It took three men to lift it.
Question:	Can this product be 8' long if I need
Answer:	This rolls out to whatever lengths that you need. I have mine mounted 13 ‘ long against my house and I roll it out to whatever width I need for example I sometimes just roll it out 4’ just to protect the furniture. Then sometimes I roll it out to 7’ to 8’ which covers my table. It’s adjustable to my needs
Question:	what is the slope? ie from top of roll to bottom of completely extended front bar
Answer:	The page details lists the maximum at 35 degrees. That's sounds *about* right, buy maybe less that that. If you look at the image it's pretty accurate as to what it looks like fully extended. I like the angel.
Question:	Can you mount on roof
Answer:	I don't think so. It can be mounted flat on wall or hung from soffit area.

Open the arms

The arm is very elastic. It can be unwrapped after the awning assembly and installation is completed. Lift the arm while unfastening the strings on the arm, while the head is lower than the arm.

Mounting brackets

The mounting position of the bracket is critical. You can refer to the golden ratio to determine the locations of different sizes. It is recommended that the brackets on both sides be approximately 2 feet from the edge.

Roller support

The roller support is the awning you use to keep the fabric level when it is expansion or retraction. The design has five small rollers whose radians support the fabric, allowing it to flatten out.

Question:	Can this be mounted on our RV
Answer:	We mounted it to the back of the house and our house is vinyl so do not see why you could not...now the part of driving down the road...might be a problem as it is not made for RV's and might not hold up against the wind hitting it as you are driving.
Question:	So if you don't have concrete or brick, how do you attach it? Some people said studs. Is it holding up
Answer:	It looks like even with concrete wall you might want to brace it further. You might try putting posts under the outside corners because it looks like it gets undue stress at the mounting brackets. Perhaps just cyclone fence type steel hollow posts to help support it and those posts would be less obtrusive than 4x4 or 2 x 4 lumber.
Question:	Can this be installed on stucco wall
Answer:	You will have to find the studs which are behind your wall if it is a stick framed stucco wall. Go into those studs by first using a masonry bit to drill through the stucco, then a regular bit for pilot hole for lag bolt or anchors. I'm not sure it would hold if you only grabbed the sheathing under the stucco because that might only be 3/4" or 5/8" thick.
Question:	Can the reel pole be installed on the left
Answer:	Yes, can be switched to either side. I just installed one that was sent to me with reel pole on the left. I needed it to be on the right and switched it. This product was made for the side to be optional, tho the description does not indicate that and the installation instructions included don’t tell how to switch it. Here’ how: 1. Locate the gear box with the reel pole ring on it. 2. Remove the gear box by removing the two bolts which attach it to the frame. 3. Note the square stud/axle of the awning role which slips into the gear box. It is part of the cap which pops into or out of the end of the role. Pop it out. You will install it on the other end in just a little while. 4. Now work on the other end of the role. It will now slip out of the frame. It has a round stud poking out of its cap. Remove the cap with the round stud. Remove the plastic receiving piece in which the stud rested by popping it out. You will install them into the other end in just a little while. 5. Now go back to the side from which you took the gear box and place the cap with the round stud into the role. Pop the plastic receiving piece into the frame. Insert the round studded end of the role into the plastic receiving piece and you are done with this side. 6. Now back to the other side where the gear box awaits. This is the trickiest part of the process. Fit the square studded axle into the gear box. Align the gear box such that the operating ring will be oriented down when the awning is installed. Affix the gear box to the frame using the same bolts you removed in step one. The trick is to keep the locking nuts in place while you do this, since there is not a lot of space to manipulate them. 7. Pat yourself on the back and install the awning to the wall and let me know how it went.

Question:	I have vinyl siding on wood frame house. how can i find the studs? the vinyl siding prevents me from using my stud finder. does this require studs
Answer:	Most houses the studs are 16 to 23 in apart from center. Yes a stud is required. You may have to start at corner of house and work your way across every 16 in. The awning usually fits up against the top close to the gutters. 9 times out of 10 there is wood at the top of the door frame as well. I hope this helps.
Question:	Can I get this in gray
Answer:	Yes. You can get most of these with a laminated color. Will cost more.
Question:	Do you have a bigger size for a window
Answer:	Check out Nuimage They have custom sizes in two inch increments. Not as cheap as standard sizes.

Answer:	Thank you for your inquiry. With the 42" projection, yes. Your door should open completely with the proper placement of the mounting bar above the door. The instructions that are with the canopy will have that measurement.
Question:	what does the 60/42/16mean
Answer:	If you were to be standing right in front of it when it is installed above a doorway, it is 60 inches from one side of the top trim to the other (length). It is 42 inches from the wall it is mounted on to the outer most part, in this case the front gutter. This dimension is parallel to the floor. 16 inches refers to its height, so from the bottom mounting bracket of the post to the top trim mounted on the wall.
