Answer:	I didn't use the bottom because I'm using it as a cover for my well in my front yard. It fits just right over it and I put a plant on it. Looks great. You could have the bottom from mine if you want to pay to mail it to you.

Answer:	Not possible to stack if you want to pen bottom unit and given curvature of top panel it wouldn't sit square on top of bottom unit.

Answer:	Not aware that there are vent openings. It's a snap together assembly process with pros and cons. The lid is not airtight either. If you need an industrial grade, hurricane proof product, this not it, and you need to look elsewhere. However ours has withstood driving rain, about 20 kts of wind, and kept low-value seat cushions and towels dry. So for us, this is on-spec.

Answer:	Yes, its is strong enough to use as bench. We've had three kids sit on it at a time (ages 8-10) and my father has also set on it and he is about 250 lbs. The top does have a little bit of a curve to itbut you can still easily use it as a serving table as well.

Answer:	The clear space is 46 wide, 20 deep, 20 high. It's actually a little bigger, but there are obstructions so I measured the clear space.

Answer:	I just measured the side-to-side distance and got a “1x6 “ board @ Home Depot. They will cut it to your measurement without charge !

Answer:	yes the lid does need to be opened 1st to open thre front & i would say it's about 3 inches or so but I agree the loop that comes through the top could be cut off but then there would be nothing to keep the front doors closed

I just went outside and measured, the interior dimensions are: EXACTLY 48 inches wide from side to side, but the doors are not straight across, they are shaped like a wave and from front to back the measurement is only 20" at its narrowest and about 22 at the widest.

Answer:	There are some screws that hold panels together, gas struts and related mounting brackets. I don't see chlorine tablets, or the acid in the bottles corroding unless there is direct contact. Tablets in packets, or buckets are sealed when I had a pool.

Answer:	My deck box has a 43 inch end to end inside length. Most all of my long-handled garden tools, etc. have a 54-56 " length. So the answer is No. However, for the storage items I use the box is just right....those items being chaise lounge items for sunning; such as padded mats, covers, sheets, pillows and insect spray, tanning lotions, sun blocks..etc.. If I did needadditional storage space it would be no problem to purchase a larger model which, I believe is readily available from Suncast through Amazon.com.

Answer:	Depends on your definition of waterproof. Nothing in mine has ever gotten wet, even in hard rain. Would the same be true if it were completely submerged in water, probably not.

Answer:	Not too difficult if you read the directions carefully and watch the videos if you get stuck. Some of the tolerances are very tight and several times you have to get a screw through solid plastic, for which I used a drill to help. The final screws are almost impossible to install and I had to go buy longer ones to finally get it done.

Answer:	Hi! Yes I have had two people sit on it at about 150 pounds each. I have had mine for 3 years and it is as nice as the day I bought it, it is very water tight as well. I live in New England and leave it outside all winter. I highly reccomend tis product!!!!!!!!!!
Question:	can you safely store pool chemicals in this
Answer:	I am not a pool owner, but I do have this item. We use it to store our outdoor cushions. It closes rather tightly, seems to be water proof, and can be locked, so I see no reason you could not use it for pool chemical storage unless there are regulations I am not aware of. It is sturdy, weather tight, for the most part. That is all I can tell you.
Question:	What are the interior dimensions of the box
Answer:	18.5 W x 38 L x 18.5 deep We got all our life jackets and depth finder in it on a pontoon. Keeps everything dry!
Question:	Is this box suitable for a "Disaster Kit
Answer:	The lid does not secure and will blow open in high wind. Also, I would not put much weight on the lid as it is not reinforced. So the best I could say is: it depends on the disaster and where you intend to keep the box.

Question:	Does this box, once closed, have any holes, gaps, etc., where mice could get in? I am considering using it indoors in a cabin to store bedding
Answer:	No holes ! It does have a place to put a lock . I would put something heavy on it to store all winter as the top wiggles with heat and cold. Good all summer on our deck on the ocean keepingcushiond dry and clean during weather

Question:	Are your deck boxes resistent to Racoons
Answer:	I have a huge raccoon problem and they have not gone in the box. I do not however keep anything in there that they want (pool toys, floats etc.) The top is most likely too heavy for them to lift and the plastic is thick enough that they won't chew through (they eat through our garbage cans). There is also a spot for a lock and I am sure this would keep them out for sure. I do have the Suncast decorative garbage holder and they have not gotten into there.
Question:	I need to purchase some bins to go inside this, but only the outside dimensions are listed. Could someone please let me know the inside dimensions
