If you check the cc of other whackers you will see it is twice as big. This motor is the same size as a chain saw. I do not know this company, but if this works on my 8ac. I will be a happy puppy. The one item I had a problem with is the directions, they are lame at best. But other than that they give you all the tools you need, OH! it weight is 20LB without gas. Answer:	Also, the 1.5 amp weighs about half the other, so it is balanced. The 3.0 would make it top heavy.

Answer:	Having exactly the same problem. Bought the unit brand new. The line advance button has never worked. So this is NOT a replacement cartridge problem.
