More so than the other tools, the string trimmer really sucks up the juice so I use the 4.0 Ah battery with it to get satisfactory run time. You might get by with the 2.4 Ah battery if the area that you trim is on the small side.

Answer:	The difference is in the battery capacity. The A6 model has a 4.0 ah battery, the E6 has a 2.4 ah battery and the standard ST275 does not include a battery or charger. The differences between the batteries is that the 4.0 will last 66% longer than the 2.4.

Answer:	The battery is a 40v, LBXR2036 serial CGG1436819012 The charger is LCS436 Type 1 A number embossed on charger plug is 2014 07 UE. As I said the battery worked well upon arrival but I have no way to test the charger.
