Answer:	I have arthritis in my large joint of my thumb, and after using this for about 30-45 minutes - my hand is screaming at me. The issue is that you have to squeeze two buttons simultaneously. The top isn't that bad, but the bottom button does take a bit of effort (for a 40+ yr old woman). Coupled with the weight of the motor, it is a noticeable difference from my prior small electric weed eater. It would stop me from buying it, but I think it should be a consideration in designing the next model.

Answer:	Regular charger I believe. For me it seems to take about three hours to recharge. I have two because I also bought a hedge trimmer. They seem to last about 25 minutes each, which is more than I can last.

Answer:	There is actually not much difference between the two. By the way, the LST136 is a discontinued model, while the LST140C is a current model...I think it just came out this year.They both have the same autofeed, and use the same spool, and of course, the same size line. The LST136 will pull 40v at max power, and 36v at normal/lower power...I noticed that someone has claimed that the LST140C is just on/off, but pages six and twelve of the manual says it's a variable speed control. I experimented a little, and it appears that the trigger's range of motion between off and full power is very, very short, as opposed to the LST136 (I really hate the bastard who stole mine--I'd either have to spend a lot more, or travel to another city to get another). I just now checked the B&D website to see what they say, and the LST136 is supposed to spin at 6500-8500 rpm, while the LST140C is supposed to be just 6500 rpm. Either their manual is wrong, or their website...take your pick.The LST136 uses the LBXR36 battery pack, and the LST140C uses the LBX1540...but aside from minor style differences (including rubber on the bottom of the LBXR36), and the LBX1540 having a three level charge indicator vs. the four that the LBXR36 has, they are identical, including charge/use time. They are interchangable, which is the very first thing I tried out, once I'd put my 140C together. By the way, that battery has been off the charger for about a year, give or take a few months, and it appears to still have a full charge on it...awesome!My LST136 came with the fast charger, and the LST140C I just bought came with a slow charger, which is likely part of why the LST140C is cheaper. The fast charger is a lot bigger...the battery fits into it, while the slow charger is a little thing that clips onto the terminals.On the LST140C, the plastic runs around a foot further down the shaft, with the handle snapping onto a pair of spring-loaded buttons, one of which has indentations which lock the position of the handle...a great improvement over the handle design of the LST136. The handle on the LST136, if I recall correctly, can be moved up and down the shaft, and can easily be accidentally turned out of line with the control switch, which isn't all that helpful. Also, the LST140C's length adjustment is mounted on the lower end of the plastic, as opposed to being somewhere between the handle and the head.If there is any difference between in the head/guard, it isn't much at all.I wish the LST140C's switch had a bit more play, but I suspect it won't really matter overall.

Answer:	Trimmer is not as powerful as my commercial grade has trimmed but is very powerful. About like a gas trimmer at 2/3 throttle. Plenty of power; I haven't used a blade yet but I think this tool will handle almost all its faced with. Very well-built and sturdy.
Question:	I am having difficulty finding the bulk replacement string for this model, or the ready spooled heads. What size is recommended for this model
Answer:	Hello there, This string trimmer was designed with a quick load trimmer head and does not use replacement spools. You can purchase any generic trimmer line at .080" in diameter and rewind the spool yourself. Question:	What is the difference between GreenWorks 21362 DigiPro G-MAX ($199) and the 21242 G-MAX 40V ($179)? Is one a newer model
Answer:	Your choice between the two units will depend on your needs as they are of very different design despite both using a 40V battery. The 21362 digiPro is a much longer (~ 6ft) and heavier unit (~10 lbs) and includes a shoulder strap, but has a much more powerful PWM (brushless) motor and can accept attachments like the metal-blade based brush-cutter, a pole saw, dedicated edger, etc) that are typically used with 2-cycle gas blowers. Also, the DigiPro uses a 2 string cutter head with thicker 0.080 (typically green color) line while most battery units use a single string cutter head with the typical thinner 0.065 (blue) trimmer line. If your previous trimmer was a gas unit, or was an electric or battery-based unit that seemed underpowered for your yard conditions, then I'd recommend the 21362 DigiPro as an upgrade. The present price of $199.50 is a great deal as the price has been in the $249 range since its introduction. Hope this helps.
