Answer:	The one I received has a metal connector, but it is not really necessary as there is a manual throttle control built on the Briggs. I have never needed much more than just above idle engine speed for the edger to perform well, and my neighbors part of the sidewalk was terrible when I first started edging

Question:	Will this fit my sears craftsman briggs & stratton 4.5 model
Answer:	You could try a couple things very carefully. 1) try squeezing harder. The trap won't engage unless the black lever is pressed all the way down. 2) press the black lever all the way down in one hand hold it steady and use a wood pencil to move the green trigger up and down a few times. Clear the pencil. Then try resetting the trap as usual. Whatever you do, never put your fingers in the trap. It's not worth the chance of injury.

Answer:	I use them in my home but I live in a rural area where we are more prone to rats/mice than in suburban areas. To my knowledge it is not labeled "commercial use."
