Answer: I don't know. I bought these for a 42" Ariens mower. They work fine for that.

Answer: The total encompassing diameter is one inch (from tip to tip on the star) Yes the tips of the star are actually rounded. The inner diameter is about 1/2 inch.

Answer: I would say these are high lift blades. They work well for bagging leaves and clippings. The back side of the outer portion of the blade is curved up sharply. The inner portion of the blade is flat. I believe the OEM blades have an upward curve on the inner part of the blade is curved upward slightly to give additional lift. These blades are half the cost of Craftsman blades and work just as well.

Question: will these blades fit my honda hydrostatic hrc-216 mower? My air filter is different than the featured mower on the web page
Answer: The answer is a 100% no, anyone else saying yes doesn't know what their talking about, these mulching blades have Low/ Almost Zero Lift on the blades so theirs no throwing power, to bag you need medium or high lift blades, these are. I have both a standard 3 system bagger and a yard vacuum we use in the fall for acorn/leaf pickup that sucks and mulches inside or simply sucks up stuff (acorns). Bought the 42" set and tried them out on leaves, they pulverized as advertised much better then the yard vacuum grinds them up but their is no way to pick them up without actually powered suction. A bagger will get clogged halfway up the tube before it reaches the bagger. Again no lift blades = no bagger abilities.

Answer: Sounds like they sent the wrong one they should both have the star center hole. Get replacements I love these blades have had them on for a year and still cut and mulch great.

Answer: Look on your spindle if the center of the blade shape matches your spindle then it will bolt up and it will work. Some spindles only take a certain blade. Be sure to check the clearance of the blade to the deck before you bolt it up to make sure it will soon freely before you start the mower.
