Answer:	I don't know the exact length, but I'd say around an inch. They're one of the longest earplugs I've owned.

Answer:	The NRR (Noise Reduction Rating) of there's is 33. Meaning if something is 110 (car horn) decibels it will lower it by 33 to 77 decibels which is a safe level. A 33 NRR is quite good and I'd consider it, IMO, to be prob the closest you're going to get to a full block out. I use various hearing protection with a 23-31 NRR, my most physically comfortable n most often used ones being a 24 NRR to protect from firearm discharge noise and that 24 NRR does a great job. I step up to higher numbers only when in enclosed spaces and even then my 31 NRR pair tends to be overkill at times and I cannot easily understand people speaking loudly and often have to loosen one side up to crack open a little path to hear what they are saying. I hope that helps you out as well as any other new users or shoppers that see this down the road. Basically a 33 NRR is a VERY high suppression level your hearing protection...ESPECIALLY on this style. So it can be a great thing or a bad thing depending on your intended use. Answer:	I think it depends on how well they fit into your ear canal. These were hard for me to get positioned, but on the few times I did they seemed to block out most of the heavy traffic noise outside of my house. When they are not in exactly right I could still hear noise through them.
