Question: How long is the cord
Answer: As several people have stated, it dosn't come with a cord. You must buy a separate outdoor extension cord long enogh for your use. One person stated he used a 100 ft 10 amp cord. I hope he ment a 10 gage cord. I wouldn't recomend running a 13 amp motor on a cord rated for 10 amps. I use a 100 ft 14 gage cord. 14 gage wire is rated for 15 amps, 12 gage for 20 amps and 10 gage for 30 amps. I find the mower runs on the 14 gage without heating the wire at all. If the wire gets hot, you are using to small of a wire. Go to a smaller gage number to carry more amps.
Question: Is this lawn mower self-propelled
Answer: No. It's not self propelled. It's very light until the bag fills up. You just need to empty the bag when it feels heavy. It's really for a smaller lawn. I wouldn't use an electric mower on a large lawn.
Question: I don't see any warranty information. If there is one, how long is it and what is covered? Thanks
Answer: Amazon's ad says 4 years. The bottom motor bearing just blew out on mine 2 months after the 4 year warranty expired so I guess I'm boned. I will probably buy the same mower again though. It has worked great up to yesterday when the motor suddenly just seized up. I borrowed my sister's 18" greenworks mower to finish the job. They both work (worked) great.

Answer: A 14 gauge cord should be safe with a 12-amp mower. Some would recommend a 12 gauge cord if you need 100ft. The mower will have a bit more power with the heavier gauge (due to reduced voltage drop in the cord) but the cord will be heavier and more expensive.

Answer: I believe so. I cut going forward then back instead of turning because my lawn is small. I never had a bad cut with this mower.

Answer: I also live in Western Washington and left my mower in a lean-to type shed and it did not age well. Not only did the electronic parts degrade but the plastic parts also degraded. I suggest keeping in the most climate controlled space you can.

Answer: You should never have more than a 5% voltage drop over the length of an extension cord. Given that this is a 10-amp device, for performance, cord durability, and most importantly, safety, you should have a 16 gauge cord for 50ft (4.2%, 5 volt drop), and 12 gauge cord for 100ft (3.3%, 4 volt drop) and 150ft (4.9%, 5.9 volt drop). Always err on the side of a larger cord (smaller gauge number is larger) when dealing with electricity, even though such cords are typically more expensive. $10-$20 can be the difference between working/broken equipment or something catching on fire. Answer: I actually called GreenWorks directly to ask this question. The customer agent looked in her internal files to see the difference between 25112 and MO13B00. The MO13B00 is a newer revision of the 25112 that is -exclusive- to Amazon.com Thats why it isnt listed on the website. The newer MO13B00 has a brushless design, the deck is redesigned to an all steel design, and the motor is a newer design with newer materials. Other than that, functionality is the same. Knowing this knowledge, i purchased the MO13B00 for a brushless design and better motor lifespan.

Answer: I use a different brand, same arrangement. Works well to froth milk to cream. I would not attempt to whip cream That's just another level. Though tall, narrow bowl is the rule for hand whipping cream as that helps force aeration. I just don't think the screen would work as well as a whisk to get the stiffer peaks you want for whipped cream.

Answer: This is not a mulching mower. The Black and Decker 13 AMP 20" corded electric mulching mower is MM2000 - a slightly differently conformed rear area with a plastic guard that fits into the opening to close off the underside of the carriage to create the "mulching" environment for the blade. With the MM 2000, you have both options, you can either remove the plastic guard (shield) and attach the grass catcher or keep the plastic shield in place to mulch the grass. I made the same mistake but I needed the mower ASAP and so kept it. It is a powerful one, I'll grant you that, it just doesn't mulch. The mulching mower is great, and now I will have to bag my grass and dump it in in plastic bags to be trashed, pain in the you-know-what!

Answer: I say yes and no. If you tighten this cap real tight, it doesn't seem to vent. In a gravity feed mower, you'll build up vac in the tank (vapor lock) and your mower (at least a B&S Quantum) will die in about 3 minutes of mowing. But if you tighten it until it just barely engages the rubber, you can mow forever. So tighten it tight for storing. Barely tighten it to run. It's great!

Question: How much does this mower actually weigh? We have to carry it up stairs on terraces
Answer: I just contacted them for this purpose and they said, "sorry, you have to buy the tray, the lifetime warranty only applies to the 'quality of the product' ". Very disappointing..
Question: I see the deck is 18 inch but what is the length of the blade
Answer: I have had my batteries in use for over 6 months for this electric pencil sharpener and they are still going strong and I use this electric pencil sharpener several times a day. The pencils sharpener within about 10-15 seconds so you are not using it long per pencil and if the pencil has previously been sharpener it takes about 2 seconds to get the sharp point back so It is very power-efficient.
Question: Is it heavy to push when mowing in normal growth of grass, like 3 ins. or so
Answer: Not sure but you may be able to reuse the old grommet.
Question: What type of extension cord should be used
Answer: It has a low adjustment screw. The high appears to be adjusted by the brass part where the cable comes in. It’s identical to the one that came on my echo trimmer. Hope this helps.
