Answer:	I doubt it very seriously. "Regular" steel is "soft" and will wear/bend verses fracturing/shattering if it strikes a hard object, such as cement, when edging. Bank on replacing the blade every 1-2 years.

Answer:	The one I received has a metal connector, but it is not really necessary as there is a manual throttle control built on the Briggs. I have never needed much more than just above idle engine speed for the edger to perform well, and my neighbors part of the sidewalk was terrible when I first started edging

Good to know replacements are so inexpensive on eBay 🙃 I guess if you’ve never used a mower before you might wonder where the grass goes. I’ve never used a bag, never dethatched, my zoysia is more than 35 years old and very healthy. I consider the grass clippings a gift from God. As far as where does the cut grass go, it stays pretty much right there. This is a very small mower if you use it that way. If the green stuff is very tall, we just had more than 10 days of rain, then I cut little narrow swathes. It is a weed eater with a deck. I had breast cancer 4 years ago. The treatment almost did me in. Up until then I did my own yard work. I’ve paid hundreds of dollars hiring idiots to scalp my zoysia and then take out my roses, Japanese maples, fig trees, lilies and plants large enough to see with weeders. I bought this little guy for me to use as it’s small enough for me use to mow my uneven lawn and it’s hard to scalp s rise budh if the weeder stays in the deck. I love this little guy.

Answer:	No, you need loppers. Take a hedge saw to a crepe myrtle and you'll end up with awful looking trees, injury and $150 down the drain. I know its an old question but I had to answer it. So stupid.
