It has an actual choke (no priming required) and a hand operated throttle. Like an old B&S engine, it can be idled down where you can almost count the engine firing. Overall a much better engine than the typical "CAB" certified engine. In addition, it uses a centrifugal clutch so the engine can run without the blade turning.

Answer:	Also, the 1.5 amp weighs about half the other, so it is balanced. The 3.0 would make it top heavy.

Question:	What’s the grass height of the mini mower
Answer:	we read before buying a guy used it on 10 inch grass on a slope. We also used it on a slope that slopes right to the lake, it does work on any height, if the grass is higher( over 12 ") u start higher going to the bottom . It is a great little mower, I use it for everything in our yard. We have close to an acre and it is on a slope like I said that goes right into the lake. It is to hard on my rider so I have this for those dangerous places and when I have to mow the grass in the flower bed w/o harming the flowers. the batteries are good, it works as they advertise it, worth the money and it is not that expensive to be so good. The best I have seen or had.

Answer:	I'm not familiar with the WG160. What I can tell you is I can shorten the shaft to be used at maybe 3' long and it has been lengthened to be used by a 6'6" man who tired it. The adaptability for anyone is why I bought it. Adjust the angles, adjust the length, adjust the handle to ease for me to move it in different directions. For those adjustments - it is awesome.

Answer:	The Trimmers are the same. The difference is the batteries. The 170 comes with two 20 volt 2.0 Ah batteries. The 170.1 comes with two 4.0 Ah batteries, which are suppose to give you more power and run time. That's why the 170.1 is more expensive.

Answer:	The Craftsman CMCST910M1 V20 Max String Trimmer, standing upright on the spool, measures 48 inches from the spool to the top of the battery and 61 1/4 inches maximum length extended. I'm 6' 1" and I do not have to bend down to use it.
Question:	I've had two (2) of this model trimmer in the last month and the line advance does not work. Is there a replacement head that uses pre-cut line
Answer:	Having exactly the same problem. Bought the unit brand new. The line advance button has never worked. So this is NOT a replacement cartridge problem. I sent a message to Craftsman Support several days ago on their support website - still have no reply. Now I am on hold listening to an endless piano concerto for the past 15 minutes. I'm sure I will be here for a while.

Answer:	This is an electric edger. You have to have 110 voltage in your home. The voltage in Austria is 220-230. It will not work and may burn.

Answer:	I have worked on electric motors a number of times, contact Black and Decker to obtain brushes. If they will not or do not respond contact an electric motor repair shop in your community they can help you. This is an easy fix but companies want you to buy new products when you can fix it easily. Probably a 20/30 minute fix for 1/4 of the price of a new product. Good luck!

Answer:	I’d return it and buy literally any other brand edger. Bought one last summer and I kid you not within the first 5 feet of edging the blade fell off and the nut was severed. This edger is not worth the money or effort
