Answer:	It’s fair to estimate 8 watts per sq ft. That is assuming this is the sole source for heat. 1500 watt /8= 188 sq ft. If this is just supplemental heat you could assume twice that.

Question:	Where are these brackets manufactured? in the usa
Answer:	In the manual it says the low setting is 750, high is 1500. All it does when you switch between high and low is turn on one or both elements.
Question:	Can I attach heavy wheels/rollers to this rack to make it portable
Answer:	I’ve gone through two of these over the past 3 years that did the exact same thing. They work for one winter then the heating element fails to work.
Question:	Can I extend the uprights to raise the bottom of rack off of floor
Answer:	Absolutely. I plugged in a programmable and it keeps the dog kennel a comfortable 60 degrees. One item, though, is these heaters do what they are supposed to, the continued on-off over time did wear them out. This is my 3rd, over the past 4 years. This heater has no problem heating the 12' x 22' room on the low setting. For the money, I will continue to replace it as they wear out.

Answer:	If you’re planning to add heavy wheels that sounds like something that should be wielded. Not sure these brackets will hope up to wielding. They are well built so perhaps they will.

Answer:	No. The bracket is solid under neither where the uprights go in. You would have to put concrete blocks under the brackets to raise it off the floor.

I would ask a pest control company how to get rid of the bugs before bringing logs into your home to burn. Maybe there is some kind of organic, safe way to do this. Firewood needs to be kept several inches off the ground to avoid termites.

Answer:	I'll make this as easy as possible to understand; the only way that this rack holds 1/2 cord of wood is if the logs are each 2 feet long. Period. A cord is a legally defined unit of measure in the United States and equals 128 cubic feet, which is the same as a wood pile of 4 foot long logs stacked 8 feet wide and 4 feet high. This rack is 8 feet long by 4 feet high; basic math tells us that to hold a half cord, each log must be 2 feet long in order to reach the 64 cubic feet needed to say that you've stacked a half cord. If your logs are of a size to fit into a standard fireplace or wood stove, approximately 16", give or take, what this rack holds is about 1/3 of a true cord of wood. In other words, if you're using this rack to hold logs that are already cut to fit your fireplace or wood stove, as most people are, it is NOT going to hold 1/2 cord. This is a great rack but their should be no confusion over how much wood it holds. It is mathematically impossible for this rack to hold 1/2 cord of fireplace-sized logs and I suspect that those reviewers claiming that it does have not had a true 1/2 cord delivered from their supplier.

Question:	Does it cover the back side of the rack too
Answer:	Because of the weight of the wood and the potential to sink into grass, it is not recommended to place directly on the grass. Stones placed under the legs are required. Thank you for your question!
Question:	What size do you suggest for 1/2 cord
Answer:	Yes, very heavy duty, and very well made. Even the cross braces (that are welded) are of 3/6" thick and very thick baked-on paint. It doesn't bend, yield, or budge even fully loaded. It has stood up to a full winter without any rust (although I did purchase an after-market full cover and it is situated under a porch overhang).
Question:	Do you sell spare covers
Answer:	The cover has a hole for each post that allows you to move the cover to the level of wood and also serves as extra grip to each post. Seems to keep it secure and we’ve had no issues with it blowing off
Question:	Other covers have as few stitches as possible because stitches often rip first, this looks like it was stitched from pieces, why so many stiches
Answer:	Hi AlexCT, This would be 4 x 4 x 2 which would be 1/4th of the 4 x 4 x 8.
