Question:	Where are these brackets manufactured? in the usa
Answer:	In the manual it says the low setting is 750, high is 1500. All it does when you switch between high and low is turn on one or both elements.

Answer:	I’ve gone through two of these over the past 3 years that did the exact same thing. They work for one winter then the heating element fails to work.
Question:	Can I extend the uprights to raise the bottom of rack off of floor
Answer:	Absolutely. I plugged in a programmable and it keeps the dog kennel a comfortable 60 degrees. One item, though, is these heaters do what they are supposed to, the continued on-off over time did wear them out. This is my 3rd, over the past 4 years. This heater has no problem heating the 12' x 22' room on the low setting. For the money, I will continue to replace it as they wear out.

Answer:	If you’re planning to add heavy wheels that sounds like something that should be wielded. Not sure these brackets will hope up to wielding. They are well built so perhaps they will.
Question:	I just received these brackets and one of them has rust on the seam. Will this effect longevity of them
Answer:	No. The bracket is solid under neither where the uprights go in. You would have to put concrete blocks under the brackets to raise it off the floor.

1. Screw one of side pieces first. Do not tighten.

2. Then screw in the other side of the bottom plate, just enough that it stays attached while you flip it to the other side.

Answer:	yes， Well designed and priced, packaged flat and protected. It holds the amount of wood I wanted for our fireplace and with the kindling shelf it's neat and tidy. No paint peeling and no rust. This is a great log holder. Love it!

Answer:	I had someone put it together for me but it seemed very easy. He did not have to trim anything.

Answer:	Because of the weight of the wood and the potential to sink into grass, it is not recommended to place directly on the grass. Stones placed under the legs are required. Thank you for your question!
Question:	What size do you suggest for 1/2 cord
Answer:	Yes, very heavy duty, and very well made. Even the cross braces (that are welded) are of 3/6" thick and very thick baked-on paint. It doesn't bend, yield, or budge even fully loaded. It has stood up to a full winter without any rust (although I did purchase an after-market full cover and it is situated under a porch overhang).
Question:	Do you sell spare covers
Answer:	The cover has a hole for each post that allows you to move the cover to the level of wood and also serves as extra grip to each post. Seems to keep it secure and we’ve had no issues with it blowing off
Question:	Other covers have as few stitches as possible because stitches often rip first, this looks like it was stitched from pieces, why so many stiches

Question:	does cover come with 30 inch
Answer:	Glad to! If you go to "More Product details" on the ad you will see that "What's in the box" clearly states " 2 brackets, instruction & hardware". The ad also states that you can build your rack from 4 feet to 8 feet, I built my rack to 12 feet with some extra bracing so how would the seller know what size you wanted to build it??? I'm sorry but the ad was pretty clean about what you were buying.
Question:	How much wood does this hold
Answer:	I bought mine a few years ago. At that time, there was absolutely no difference. Item numbers on the brackets are exactly the same. If you are building the log holder longer than 6ft, I suggest placing a bracket in the middle to keep it from sagging. Also, I put two brackets on top and made a shelf for kindling. Worked like a charm!

Answer:	The hoop holds enough wood for half day of a fire in fireplace,it’s a good size to keep on deck next to door,I had the larger hoop that my son in law borrowed and has returned ,I like the larger one so I don’t have too make many trips to the cord stored in driveway.
Question:	Is a cover for the firewood rack necessary
Answer:	Dorcas seems to have the idea. In my case, I set the shelves a bit high to allow for "legs" under the shelves, and don't believe the casters would be long enough. An axle and wheels would work. It would have to be pretty stout, since the wood is really heavy.
Question:	Can this hold half a cord
Answer:	If you use 8' boards on bottom and 4' boards for uprights, If you cut your logs 16" long and overstack slightly it will be 1/3 cord. 1/3 cord = 8'x4'x16"
