Answer:	I'm sure you could, there's a wire rack included to stack the charcoal or wood. I've had rouring fires in mine, so a charcoal fire would do fine - you'll need a 24" rack if you're planning on using it to cook. Enjoy!

Answer:	The depth of the bowl is about 7 inches. No it does not come with a grill rack only a coal grate for the bottom. Amazon has another type that does have a grill grate. Very satisfied with the product.

Answer:	There is not a separate ash pan. After the fire is out and the pit is cool, I typically tip the Yukon stove upside down to empty- the sweep up the ashes. Be careful of putting fingers in the holes, they are sharp!

Answer:	I wouldn’t recommend it. I tried using it to protect my deck from the heat from a little rocket stove. The wood didn’t catch fire, but it did leave scorch marks.

Answer:	I would never put a wood stove in a canvas tent, and I would say no.

Answer:	I dont know about that. I bought the pad to act as a heat shield under a Smokey Joe/jumbo Joe on top of a plastic table.i never noticed any damages to the table but what you are asking about is considerably larger and heavier.
Question:	Will this fire pad work to protect grass under a propane fire table
Answer:	Yes, the FirePad also protects grass. Keep in mind, there must be at least 4 inches of space in between the bottom of your fire pit and the FirePad. The FirePad is not designed for direct contact with the bottom of a fire pit or grill. It's also important to note that grass burns at a much lower temperature than a wood or composite deck. If you will be using the FirePad on grass, you will likely need the larger 36" size
