Answer:	The "orbital" refers to the circular motion of the blade. It moves up and down (as if on a y-axis) and also forward and backward (as if on the x-axis). The forward/backward motion is very slight compared to the up/down motion. It makes the cut more aggressive and a lot faster. Breaking down 2x4's goes very quickly. However, you can set the orbital motion from min to max, so this is very adjustable and this saw can still make very accurate cuts with the right blades.

Answer:	We dug a shallow hole and dropped a flat square ( so water drains easily) sheet of metal in to build the fire on. Not needed, but we have done this once before with good results. The ring itself it above ground surrounded by brick.

You will also need 1/2" black pipe sections so suit your installation and a fitting to get from 1/2 pipe to the fitting on the control hose. Take it to your local hardware, they will have the fitting. I converted a chiminea to propane. Used 1- 6" nipple 1- elbow, air mixer, 1- 6" nipple, adapter to control hose. Works great

Answer:	10 inches. I think it calls that out in the description. If you want your fire pit taller, you can either dry stack stone on top of the lip or raise the whole ring with more stacked stone. Or even dig down into the ground (but that may collect rainwater).
