Answer:	There is a grate made of 1/4" diameter steel rod with about 1" high steel legs as an ash pit.

Answer:	You can fit "logs" that are about a foot (or little less) long in through the opening. If they are cut very thin you can drop longer logs down the chinmey.

Question:	What is the distance between the legs? Would it go on a 26"x26" deck defender
Answer:	Yes, it should fit comfortably if you turn the fire pit so that the legs are aligned with the corners of the deck defender. The fire pit has four legs that form a square or diamond pattern. If you think of each leg as sitting at the corner of the square, the distance between the two on the same side of the square is a bit over 20" and the diagonal distance between the two legs on opposite sides of the table is just under 29" (the distances are with regard to the curved metal legs and would be about an inch less if you leave the leveling legs attached). The diagonal distance between corners on a 26"x26" deck defender will be just under 37", so you should be fine as long as you orient the fire pit legs to sit in those corners. In other words, the footprint of the square the fire pit legs form is smaller than the square of the 26"x26" deck defender.
Question:	Does 34-inch include the tile ring? How big is the bowl itself
Answer:	The bowl is 22 inches. As far as the tile goes it's just as pictured. The great thing about this pit is it has level adjusting feet.

This portable propane campfire style fire pit cranks out 50,000 BTUs. It has a steel frame, uses a 20-pound external propane tank (not included), and comes with a smart, locking lid. The pumice stone, tank holder, and 10-foot gas hose complete this fire pit. The tank holder tray holds the propane tank so it won’t tip over.

Answer:	Not that I see, just cloth which you should purchase elsewhere. Could probably fab a steel though

Answer:	propane does not give out carbon monoxide..that is why you see propane driven forklifts inside warehouses

Answer:	I used fire glass and it works fine. Sand I’m not sure about. The inside of the column is hollow, which houses the tank.

Answer:	Yes, this must be used in a well ventilated area (not indoors). It requires 10' of clearance from combustibles, 6' of clearance from the table surface to an overhead surface and 4' of clearance from any walls.

Question:	Would this work upside down on a garage drywall ceiling to protect it from the heat of a propane patio heater
Answer:	Yes I used this on stained hardwood steps works great
Question:	Can this be used under a wood stove in a canvas tent
Answer:	We used it on our slippery tiled stairs and I love it! I walk barefoot on it all the time and it is more like walking barefoot on concrete than rubber, not at all like sandpaper. It is not rough to the touch but definitely does the job. Our dogs were slipping and sliding and hitting the wall ever since we took the carpeting up and now they have no problem. I was worried about the baby she is just walking and those shoes can be slippery anyway. I didn't like the slickness being barefoot either this completely eliminated the problem with one coat!
Question:	can this product protect a new trex deck from being scraped or scratched from a heavy umbrella stand outside all year
Answer:	flat. I put in on deck tile, and you can hardly see it.
Question:	Will this fire pad work to protect grass under a propane fire table
Answer:	I used this to coat stones that I placed in my yard. All of my stones are painted surfaces of different colors. I have not noticed any yellowing at all, but then again I am not sure that I would since my stones are brightly colored. It does spray on clear and I used this spray last summer and again this summer, I can say that it works as far as being non-skid and my stones seem to have kept their color, so it is also protecting that. Now if you have a white surface and spray it on, I am sure it will go on clear, but if it is in the sun I am not sure if it will discolor or not, all I can say is that my stones that have been in the yard still look great and it definitely sprayed on them clear.

Directions for Safe Use:

• Place the FirePad Deck Protector underneath your portable fire pit, grill, or smoker.
• The reflective, silver side of the FirePad should face up towards the heat. The "aluminization" is the key to this product's performance. It reflects up to 95% of radiant heat away from your deck!
• DO NOT place heat source directly on FirePad Deck Protector.
• There must be at least 6 inches of space in between the heat source and FirePad for proper heat protection.
• The FirePad is available in 3 sizes: 24" diameter, 30'' diameter, and 36" diameter. Since the hottest part of the fire is in the center of the pit, it is most important to have adequate protection in the center.
• Store indoors and lay flat at the end of each use to ensure the longevity and function of the product.
• Not recommended for use with Stainless Steel Fire Pits.

Question:	Is it easy to attach the Coleman 1lb propane canister? Also is it easy to light once the canister is on and the turn knob is in the light position
Answer:	Yes it is easy to attach the propane canister. There is a door on the upper panel that comes completely out held on by a lip and magnets. This gives you adequate access to screw in the canister. As far as lighting it, yes it's very easy to light. I recommend a lighter "wand" made by Bic. Once the flame is lit it ,in a sense, poofs flame and if you have arm hair, consider it gone. :)R/Andy V.
Question:	what is fire glass
Answer:	The glass rocks that go around the gas burner. They hide the gas burner and allow the flame to rise up between the glass rocks
Question:	Does it come with the hose to connect the propane tank? And what is the type of tank needI to buy
Answer:	You this does not come with a hose because the the tank connects inside the fireplace. The type of tank you need is a 1lb tank and you can find that at most stores such as fool lion and home depot.
Question:	How long does a 1 lb propane tank last
Answer:	Depends on usage and size of fire. Very satisfied with product and price of 1 lb tank is cheap!
