The extra will allow the rubber feet on the glass to sit on the slate table top nicely! Best price I found is on here as eBay wants wayyy too much and the one store I found that carries them won’t ship direct to customers out of state OR wants your entire life savings to ship it! Can’t wait to get mine!!!! Answer:	I just measured. It is 24.5" high (leveling casters might be the reason for the extra 1/2 inch) and 29.5 - 29.75 across. Two sides are a touch larger because the slate is not a sharp edge. But clearly not 32. Still good size though. Used it again last night....watch your feet....if there is no breeze it puts off some heat!!! Lol

As per the safety CSA regulations that we must adhere to, we cannot advise the use of the Outland Living Fire Tables on a wood deck. The minimum clearances for our products state the use of this unit must be on a non-combustible surface. We recommend looking into the composition of your deck prior to use of our Fire Tables. Question:	How much heat does the product actually put off? Does it give off some warmth
Answer:	We have it on our back patio with no overhead protection, so not as much as a traditional wood fire pit but it's not apples to apples though. The low height, openness and flame size of the traditional fire pit radiates the heat further. The table height plays a factor as most of the heat is about torso height (modern style outdoor furniture so it's lower than most) but if you get close enough, you will certainly feel it. Owned this table for about a week and used a few times since. We have the glass wind guard and living in NC, haven't had the need to "feel the heat" yet. With the wind guard on the table, it will shield your drinks from the heat for the most part. The ambience from the fire reflecting off the glass and glass stones is relaxing. Overall, we are very pleased and looking forward for the cooler weather. Well worth the money. This company's Customer Service is great too. Part damaged from UPS handling and sent part the next day. No resistance.
Question:	Has anyone else had issues with the Ignitor on this fire pit? Mine does not work, directly out of the box
Answer:	Had the same problem. Worked for the first month no issues. Then the ignitor wouldn't flame up even with the spark. 1st changed the gas because mine was low. 2nd moved the rocks back. Unscrewed the 2 short screws, then took a wire brush to the square piece and spark piece with some WD-40. Just a little as it is flammable 1 small spray, then wiped away any excess. I was hopeless but then it started right up. Perhaps its the rock residue that overtime creates a film that doesn't allow it to ignite. Good luck

Answer:	I figure about 14-16 inches. 12-inch stove-length wood is too short to span between the horizontal 2x4's, but not by much. I usually cut a bunch of longer pieces for the bottom layer, to span the 2x4's, and then stack my 12-inch stove-length pieces on top of that "base."

Answer:	I considered the metal ones but I liked the looks of these and the price as well so I went with these. I have not gone through a season with these yet so am not sure if the savings was worth it. They are holding up well in the short time I have used them in cold weather.

Answer:	Yes' they'll hold 12" long wood but I suggest 16"-18", I cut mine 20" since I have a boxwood stove I can fit longer pieces in. But the 2 2x4's at bottom are close enough to hold a 12" piece but I might not stack to 4ft high as a traditional rick would be as the stack would be unstable with that short of wood but not really a wood rack issue more of a wood length issue.
