Answer:	Depends on how much you burn but lasted about three hours in my pit but I only used two pieces at a time some lasted longer because of the different sizes of the wood .

Answer:	i got the one that came up as the suggested "others also ordered" option. it is the Duck Covers Elite Chiminea Cover (Fits chimineas 12"DIA (Top) x 28"DIA (Bottom) x 48"H). it is really durable and fits well. there is room left at the top for a chiminea with a taller upper stack, but it covers the whole bottom and leaves about a 2 inch gap at the bottom. there are also tie downs for each of the 4 legs of the chiminea to keep it from blowing off.
Question:	Can this be placed on a wood deck
Answer:	Only use it on a fireproof base.
Question:	What is the best platform for a chiminea? I am concerned about a wood deck
Answer:	I bought a square protector for under it. Found on amazon. Said it was made from volcanic rock.
