Answer:	I have the same clock with the same problem. The sensor worked for a couple of weeks and then just stopped. Company has removed the ability to leave a message and does not answer this number. I have not been able to contact them or even find an address, email or physical, to contact them in writing. I contacted Sharp, because their name is on it, and they really don't care or have anything useful to offer other than the same phone number that hasn't been working since at least March 2020 when I first started trying to contact them. Don't waste time or money on the absolute garbage clock from Sharp, Model SPC1107. It's not really a Sharp product , and there's no way to ever get any help WHEN (not if) it fails. The only fix for this junk clock is to simply not own one.

Answer:	Personally, I would not put in direct sun, but I live in Florida. BUT, our SECOND one just gave out after about a month of use. It was outside in a screened room, in the shade., never got it wet. Attempted to reach Seller but got no response. I do not plan to replace it with the same one.

Here is why: 1.The sensor itself doesn't have the ability to cache the data, but the hub does. 2. After the hub was taken to a place where there is no wifi, as long as the hub was in power, the hub can cache the data, when the hub was connected back to the wifi, then the cache data will be uploaded to the cloud altogether, here is a crucial point: once the hub was powered off, then the cache data will be cleared. 3. Once the hub was disconnect from wifi, the hub will reboot, and the cache will be cleared. Hence it is suggested to place the hub under the wifi.

Answer:	There are no calibrations that I have been able to find. My thermometer is off 30 degrees and the hygrometer is off 20%, so I only use the clock and it chews up batteries very quickly so it is not very accurate with the time either.

Question:	Can the thermometer in this clock be adjusted? Ours is located in the shade but always reads about 10 degrees F higher than the actual temperature
Answer:	It doesn’t appear so. It is sealed in the back. There is a knob that turns slightly for the thermometer (similar to the one that lets you set the time of the clock) but it doesn’t seem to do anything when I turn it.
Question:	We live in where it can get to 20 to 30 below zero in the winter. Will this clock work at those temps
Answer:	We don’t get that cold, just lots of rain! I plan on taking mine in for the winter!

Answer:	The actual clock face is 9” across.

Answer:	I don’t know. We just bought the clock this summer and our winter temps don’t fall that low. But my instinct says 20-30 below zero is too cold for this clock. I’m already considering bringing it in for the winter. However, we like this clock so much we bought a second one.

troubleshooting Steps : Remove all batteries from outdoor sensor and clock. Press one of the buttons on the clock at least 20 times to clear all memory. Verify that the clock is blank before proceeding (there may be lines painted on the screen). Leave both units without power for 15 minutes (very important). Insert fresh batteries into the outdoor sensor. Insert fresh batteries into the clock. Keep the outdoor sensor 5-10 feet from the clock. When RF connection is established, the temperature will appear on the station. Allow the outdoor sensor and clock to sit together for 15 minutes to establish a strong connection. Do not press buttons for 15 minutes. For optimum 915MHz transmission, the outdoor transmitter should be a distance of no more than 200 feet (60 meters, open air) from the clock.

Note: Distance: The maximum transmitting range in open air is over 200 feet (60 meters) between the outdoor transmitter and the clock. Consider what is in the signal path between the clock and the transmitter. Consider the distance the clock is located away from other electronic in the home. Resistance: Obstacles such as walls, windows, stucco, concrete, and large metal objects can reduce the range. When considering the distance between the transmitter and the clock (200 feet open air) cut that distance in half for each wall, window, tree, bush or other obstruction in the signal path. Closer is better. Do not mount the transmitter on a metal fence. This significantly reduces the effective range. Interference: Consider items in the signal path between the transmitter and the clock. Sometime a simple relocation of the transmitter or the clock will correct the interference issue. Windows can reflect the radio signal. Metal will absorb the RF (radio frequency) signal. Stucco is held to the wall by a metal mesh. Transmitting antennas (ham radio, emergency dispatch center, airports, military base etc.) Electrical wires (utilities, cable etc.) Vegetation is full of moisture and reduces signal.

Answer:	I purchased this clock for outdoor use by our pool. I got it late spring and I have not replaced the batteries yet. Runs great, looks great and is holding up well in the weather.

Answer:	It was black. However, I sent two of them back because they quit telling time. It was a beautiful clock. I thought that maybe the first clock had a bad movement, but the replacement clock had the same issue. Brand new batteries didn’t fix either of them. I don’t recommend.

Answer:	So long as it is not exposed to rain. Direct sunlight could affect any electronics. And you would have the 'outdoor ' sensor which you could use indoors if you wanted to. Depending upon your climate extremes of heat or cold eventually affect all electronics. Should work with those caveats.

Answer:	Mine doesn't but I'm almost positive I saw the option to have the beep on or off. After all, there's an alarm built in so I would think as long as they have a beep alarm, might as well make it an option for seconds as well.
