Question:	How long does it take after calibrating for it to start properly working and the hand to start moving
Answer:	The 'hand' moves immediately if there is pressure change. To calibrate, log on to the Internet and find your local pressure, and use the screw in back to align the hand with the local pressure. The movement of the screw is very small to align to the local pressure. There is no reason to turn it so much that it falls out. I turned mine maybe an 8th of a turn. Mine has been very accurate to the local pressure. Satisfied with it.
Question:	How do u calibrate the trac outdoor t3002 fishing barometer
Answer:	Current Barometric pressure can be found at www.weather.gov by typing in your town and state, or by checking your local weather news. Use a small screw driver to turn the adjustment screw on the back of the barometer to make the Red Hand match your current pressure. Once adjusted, it does not need to be re-adjusted unless it is taken to a higher or lower altitude. The hand on the lens can be adjusted to match the current pressure. The lens hand is used to track changes. After the pressure changes you will see the pressure rise or fall compared to the lens hand. Barometric pressure trends can happen quickly (10 to 30 minutes) when a front comes through. Other times when weather is steady the pressure can stay the same for many days. Question:	How do I use this
Answer:	This is a Barometric Pressure Gauge. It does not use any power source. It shows the barometric pressure as a direct reading on the scale. The barometric pressure can influence the attitude of bass which usually dictates if they will bite aggressively or if the bite will be very slow. This gauge must be calibrated before use. There is a small adjusting screw on the rear to calibrate the gauge. It is best to get a local barometric pressure reading from a known accurate source to initially set the gauge.

Answer:	the detail information says it's set by "intelli-time". That is NOT the atomic clock in Colorado, so NO, it's not an atomic clock setting.
Question:	Does this device require internet access? Does it pull in data from a weather service
Answer:	Does not require internat nor receive info from weather service. You hang a wireless sensor outside, this sensor communicates with the unit inside and give you pretty accurate info. Future weather is calculated internally using barometric pressure readings, not really reliable but useful if you lose all other sources, like in an emergency. I use mine mostly for outdoor readings that are easily viewed. I would buy it again.
Question:	I know the sensor can be mounted nearly anywhere, but can the weather center be wall mounted
Answer:	You have the option of wall mounting or setting it on a desk. You have to be careful when wall mounting and place it in a position to where you can see it dead on and nor at an angle.
Question:	How long is the cord if there is one
Answer:	I just measured and it is approx. 5 1/2 feet. The cord was a little curly and hard to measure but it was a bit over 67 inches. Hope this helps!

Question:	Does anyone know if this is really the old fashioned barometer style from the past
Answer:	This barometer reads in millibars. The old original barometers read in inches of mercury. The original scientists filled an empty glass tube with mercury, then carefully turned it upside down into a bowl of mercury making sure no air broke the column. Then they measured the distance in inches to the surface of the mercury in the tube. The overall average level at sea level was 29.92 inches, the same as 760mm, 1,013.25 millibars, or 14.70 lbs per square inch. Cold, dry air masses have the highest pressures, whereas warm tropical air full of moisture have the lowest air pressures. A sealed bulb in this barometer is connected to the needle; as air pressure changes, the needle goes up or down. It is easier to calibrate than my last barometer, which is done by checking local barometric pressure, by checking conditions at your local airport, then turning the screw on the back to match that reading. If your airport gives readings in inches or mm, then you will have to convert to millibars. I found a table online that lists the three side by side. Look on the web for highest and lowest air pressures to help you know the potential range of the barometer. Also, barometric pressure changes by elevation. If your elevation is different from the airport, you will need to make a correction to your barometer. These things are true for any barometer. I also have a water filled hurricane barrometer; look it up on the web.
Question:	is the housing metal
Answer:	Yes, the housing is metal. I had another barometer but it was not accurate and was almost impossible to set. This one is somewhat easier to set and has less error.
Question:	Is this easy to calabrate
Answer:	Yes. The instructions were super simple. Just use a small flat screwdriver and slowly adjust the screw in the back. The device uses millibars, most weather programs tend to default to inches, just switch to millibars in in your weather app( I use Weatherbug - was super easy to temporarily change)

Answer:	Not that I know of. Besides, to get the same readings as reported by the local airport or National Weather Service, you have to adjust it to compensate for your precise altitude above Mean Sea Level. You do this by adjusting the calibration screw on the back to match what the nearest weather station barometric pressure, which is already adjusted to the local altitude. Altimeters are actually barometers. The higher you go the lower the pressure. So if you don’t adjust the lower pressure to show what the barometer would read if you were at sea level, the readings would be meaningless as far as “lows” and “highs” are concerned. The adjustment is delicate so you need to tweak it back and forth over a period of time until it consistently matches up with what your local NWS station reports.
