Question:	I am build a firepit. Can I use these to make a pattern in a slab, let it cure and use for my outer firepit wall? Using color and filling with mortar
Answer:	It would be very hard to do. When the concrete is cured, you end up with separate individual rock-like pieces. The edge of the mold goes all the way to the bottom of the pattern. You might be able to do it if you made a really thick slab... like 4 inches thick and then try and use it as a stamp that only goes through halfway. But I have never used it like that so it might not work.
Question:	It hard to see in the pictures, how are the pieces held together
Answer:	Each section of the mold forms an individual stone. They are not held together. When you remove the mold, you can add sand or Polysweep in the cracks to stabilize the walkway.
Question:	What's the ratio from Portland cement and sand and water
Answer:	1 part Portland to 2 parts sand in a sand-only mix. Add gravel or crushed stone to the dry mixture to a ratio of as much as 5 parts gravel to 1 part cement and sand mixture.

Question:	Does the concrete release easily from the mold? Thank you
Answer:	It does. I just used the mold for a "test run" today. I have mixed a lot of concrete by hand, but this time I used just a little less water to make the concrete mix a bit dryer/thicker. I shoveled it into the mold and with my gloves on I padded it down and leveled it I bet. After only 10 to 15 minutes it was set up enough for me to pull the mold straight up and away from the concrete. Nothing stuck and it came up easily. I had purchased 2 molds so while the first one was setting up for that 10-15 minutes I mixed another 60 lb bag and filled the second mold. Again, I only waited about 15 minutes before I pulled it up and that one came up just as easy as it did the first time.

Answer:	I don’t see why not. The backing is made so it is possible to lay into flooring. I set I don’t see why not. The backing is not waterproof if you are planning to use it for indoor plants but it would be easy enough to put a waterproof backing on them. It is made so you can set it as you would tiling. I have mine set as stepping stones in my garden. I love the look and the stones are still shiny after being outside in the weather all summer.

Answer:	Use a tile saw, a wet saw that you can get for about 90 bucks. I have a cheap Skil tile/wet saw that works well. It will be easier to cut if you use a sand mix versus aggregate concrete.

Question:	What is used in the gaps after they are placed
Answer:	If they are far apart, then I would say the mulch idea works. if the pavers are as close together as they are in the item photos, I would go with Polymeric Sand (https://www.lowes.com/pd/Sakrete-40-lb-Tan-Brown-Polymeric-Sand/3502168). Brush on to pavers, lightly water for a bit and it will harden into the gaps. Not designed for large gaps, but perfect for the smaller ones. I used on a small concrete templated pathway recently and it was super simple to apply and looks great :)

Answer:	No gloss look. When dry looks the same as before it was applied. When rains it puddles in some places. It was exactly the look I wanted around my pool.

Answer:	Stored at room temperature the SX5000WB will last at least one year. It's not uncommon for the product to still be usable closer to two years.

Answer:	This is a sealant for pavers, etc. Radon Gas: no! You may need to see a contractor.

Answer:	7-10 years is typical for a high quality, high solids Silane-Siloxane water repellent sealer. That is considered to be the max life of any good water repellent. The only type of sealer that is longer lasting is a silicate sealers like the Armor S2000 or Armor L3000. Silicate sealers chemically react to form a calcium silicate hydrate barrier within the pores that reduces the sizes of the pores, therefore increasing the strength and density. The calcium silicate hydrate can only be removed when the concrete itself is removed. Silicate sealers don't cause water and other liquids to bead off the surface however. The only benefit you get with a silicate sealer is an increase in strength and density.

How Does It Work?

The Armor SX5000 WB penetrates into the substrate where it chemically reacts to form a hydrophobic (water repellent) barrier within the pores. The hydrophobic barrier, which can last for up to 7-10 years, will reduce the absorption of surface water by up to 95%! Coverage & How to Apply

Coverage:

One gallon of the Armor SX5000 WB will cover up to 175 square feet per coat. Two coats are recommended to achieve the maximum life and performance benefits. Coverage can vary depending on the porosity of substrate and the application method.

Application:

The Armor SX5000 WB is very easy to apply.

Step 1: Make sure the surface is clean, dry, and free of any other sealers or coatings. If the surface has been pressure washed, allow at least 24 hours for the substrate to completely dry.

Step 2: Using a roller or sprayer, apply 1 even coat. While the surface is still wet, apply a second coat.

Step 3: Allow the surface 24 hours to fully react and dry. Do not apply if it is expected to rain within 24 hours. Ensure any irrigation systems are turned off, or directed away from the newly sealed surface.

Frequently Asked Questions

Will this give me a wet look? No, the Armor SX5000 WB will not give you a wet look. The Armor SX5000 WB will not change the look or color and you surface will look exactly as it did before being sealed. If you want a wet look sealer, consider the Armor WL550, Armor AR350, or Armor AR500.

Will the surface be slippery when wet? No, the Armor SX5000 WB will not leave behind a slippery surface film. It works entirely below the surface in the pores.

Is the product UV stable? The Armor SX5000 WB works below the surface, inside the substrate and is not exposed to UV rays.

How long does the product last? The Armor SX5000 WB can last for up to 7-10 years before the need to reseal. While the surface water bead isn't visible on all surfaces, the product is still working hard from within the pores. You will notice sealed surfaces dry faster than unsealed surfaces, and sealed surfaces are easier to clean and keep clean.

Answer:	Dealers like this are commonly used on pavers. Use it sparingly. My experience was that it will get a white scale if applied to thick. I think some pro applicators dilute it with water.

Why do I need these supplies?

• The sprayer will help distribute the product more evenly on the surface. Any sprayer will work for our products, although high pressure sprayers will allow higher coverage rates.
• The roller should be used to back-roll any puddles or drips, and to smooth the sealer in textured areas. If you’ve re-sanded the paver joints, ensure that the sand is 1/8” below the top of the paver surface to avoid pulling it up on the roller.
• The extension pole will be used to attach to the roller handle and roller nap. This will allow you to roll onto the surface without bending over.
• The tape will be used to secure the protective paper or plastic on areas that you don't want the sealer to enhance, such as your doors, garage door, garden, ect.
• The protective paper (plastic or paper) will be used to block off the areas where you don't want sealer to be applied.
