Answer:	The Pole is 6 foot long ... my flag is 3 Feet wide... so I suppose you can lower it a foot or so .... but not sure it would appear like it is half staff .... you would need a 20' flag pole to get that true half staff appearance ... but you can still try to lower it if it works in your view... the clips are adjustable you can place the brackets any place you like along the length of the pole .

Answer:	This pole does not have a sliding adjustable feature. It locks together and is 6 foot long.
Question:	Our flag keeps tangling...clips are even what are we doing incorrectly
Answer:	Although not necessary, the metal pieces may spin more freely in certain wind conditions if a spray silicone lubricant is applied to the spinning parts of the rings. Attach the included carabiner to each ring. The narrow portion of the carabiner should be nearest the ring as pictured. Position the first mounting ring under the ball on the top of the flagpole as pictured and tighten using the allen wrench provided. Note the narrowest part of the ring should be closest to the flagpole topper as pictured. Position and tighten the second mounting ring in the necessary position on the first section of the flagpole, again placing the narrowest part closest to the topper. Both spinning rings should always be placed on the half of the flagpole that has the topper. If mounting a 3x5 flag, place the ring just above the holes for the botton lock as pictured. If a smaller flag is used, slide the ring closer to the topper an appropriate distance from the first ring. Always make sure the rings are not too far apart as to cause tension on the rings once your flag is attached. Now carefully join the two halves of the pole together by pushing the buttons down. Spin until a click is heard and the pieces are tightly secured. Attach the top grommet of the flag to the carabiner located on the mounting ring as shown. Question:	Will these work if the pole is 45 degrees
Answer:	My flag is at the normal flag pole holder/bracket angle. Looks to be about 45 degrees and the units work very well. Occasionally you may still have to untangle flag but it's so much better than not having them. The heavier the flag the better they work. They are worth the extra money over plastic versions. The rotate on a real bearing unlike the plastic ones which looks to be just a friction fit and don't spin as easy and the sun destroys the plastic over time and eventually they break Plus they are made in the USA and should last a long time. My flag flies all the time, through all 4 seasons without any issue so far.

Answer:	The ID of these rings is 1.0125. So it is good for flag poles with an OD of 1 inch. It does not fit 1" plumbing pipes since their OD is 1 1/8". It is not good for a pole with an OD of 1-1/8".
Question:	Will these work on a wooden pole
Answer:	Sure, as long as the pole is the correct diameter. It seems to me these are1.5" swivels. They will work on a pole of less than the specified diameter. They work extremely well. Be sure to oil them before you put them into service. I only wish they made them in more of a variety of diameters (smaller and larger). They are the beat I have come across.

Answer:	Probbaly no help to you, but I worked in the lighting business for about 6 years and I have not seen one with an outlet built in. You might try branching out of the junction box and installing an out let next to it,

Answer:	(2) 1/4" lag screws is what I used to mount mine to barn with wooden siding. You could use Tapcons for concrete. There is an opening for 3/4" threaded conduit in the back and I mounted a metal junction box on the opposite side of the wall with a short connecting piece of rigid metal conduit running through the wall. The conduit will provide added support. You will need to extend the wires or bring them all the way through to the weatherproof metal box that is at the back of the fixture.

Answer:	Yes, it can be installed in any orientation including upside down. The fixture is completely sealed and gasketed making it rain proof too.

Answer:	The 6' poles are designed to be mounted on a post or side of a house and that mounting bracket is included. 6' poles are not long enough to be used in a floor stand in an office or other building since a 3'x5' flag would drag on the floor. Indoor flagpoles used in floor stands are usually 8' tall.

Answer:	it s to be mounted in a bracket. the pipe is hollow with a little plastic cap on the end. the pole is @ 5' long. there won't be enough room to have the flag not touch the ground if put into the ground, with no wind. I hope this helps.
Question:	Why only one hook and not 2? I saw the answer use hook at the took and 1 plastic ring at bottom leaving an extra plastic ring. Seems confusing
Answer:	There should be two rings with plastic screws. Put the plastic screw through the topmost flag grommet and screw it into the hole in the ring. Do the same for the bottom grommet. Adjust the plastic rings so the flag is spread to it's widest. Do not use the hook.

Answer:	yes, but take your flag down if there are severe winds as the base may be broken by the force of the wind blowing the flag.

Can someone please explain how these cheap plastic rings are supposed to attach the flag to the pole

Remove set-screws from flag fasteners, slip first fastener up bottom of flagpole and position just below swivel clip. Note: Swivel clip and snap hooks are not used with traditional style flag. Position opening in fastener under the top grommet of flag. Replace set-screw in fastener through grommet of flag thereby holding flag snug against pole. Repeat with lower grommet. Both grommets must be positioned above joint in order for pole to spin. Do not use oversize flags.

Question:	Will these slide on a 1" that is painted, or does the added mils make it impossible
Answer:	These slip over the painted 1” pole that I have fine. The inside diameter of the ring is 1-1/16”(I just measured it).
Question:	Where are these manufactured
Answer:	It does not say, but considering that these are a cheaper 1/2 the price version of the Made-in-the-USA Stanwood Wind Sculpture ones I think it is safe to say they are made in China. For what it's worth, I've had the Mofeez outside of my house for over a year and have had no problems - still spinning freely and keeping my flag untangled, and the ball bearing still appear to be well sealed. I live in NJ where we go from 5 to 95 degrees and bone dry to high humidity. In addition to where they came from it appears that the main difference between the two is the Stanwood actually states that their ball bearing are stainless steel.
Question:	can you purchase replacement bearings
Answer:	Best to send a question through Amazon to Mofeez. I really don't think the bearings will need to be replaced. Mine has been in use for a year and still works like brand new. It has withstood, hot, cold, rain, sleet and snow. However the price has gone up 55% since I purchased it Hopefully I will not have to purchase another one anytime soon.
Question:	What type of material are these made from
Answer:	They are definitely not brass. At least not the vertical "tower." You can clearly see a silver metal material where they were tapped for the screw. Based on the seams of the various parts I suspect they are cast/pot metal that have a very nice painted finish to make them look brass-like. I doubt they are aluminum because of their heavier-than-would-be-expected weight. Having said all that, I'm happy with them and they work extremely well. As an aside, if you need it for a 0.7- 0.75" dia. pole, be sure to use the longer of the two pairs of screws provided. This wasn't obvious to me - the screws appear to be brass and are M6-1.0mm x 10mm and 12mm. The inside diameter of the "tower" is 1.0195" according to my micrometer. Also, I don't think they are powder coated. Had they been then the inside of the "tower" (which is really almost overspray quality rather than legit powdercoat) would have looked like the outside. Don't get me wrong, the finish is very nice - almost automotive quality, but I don't think it was powdercoated because you don't get that overspray quality with powdercoating.

Answer:	I actually have the same question. The picture shows the aluminum alloy as being inferior, and then goes on to sell an aluminum alloy item. Why would we buy this if the picture shows it as inferior?

Answer:	Make sure you install with the set screw of the top ring above the rotating ring and the set screw of the bottom ring below the rotating ring. Then, based on the size of your flag, adjust the rings the appropriate distance so there is slight tension so the carabiners don't catch on the head of the set screw. Occasionally the flag may catch on a set screw and wrap around the pole, but proper installation keeps it to a minimum. Years of experience with various flags in the winds of Hatteras Island.

But I have had this pole with a 5x3 flag attached and have had some pretty gusty winds and never had a problem. It gives a little under stress but doesn't seem to be a problem. Overall, I would recommend this product.
