Answer:	You can buy chain to fit this feeder at most any hardware store. You can get it cut to the size you want to extend as far as you want, etc.

Answer:	The D of dish is only 10" and depth about 2.5", it does not need a solar pump. Only holds about 10 oz. water. I use a floatable solar pump in my 42" concrete bath making it into a low charge fountain and a solar panel to operate recirculating flow for the waterfall in my pond.
Question:	I cannot believe how many didn't receive the chains. Amazon, was manufacturer notified? I won't take a chance

How long will it take for hummingbirds to find a feeder for the first time?

Answer:	Feeder has a metal mesh-like bottom. Tiny holes.
Question:	I cannot get the chain to thread through the holes in the cedar / food tray part. Can you help me
Answer:	threading the chain wasn't easy for me, however once done it holds well and nothing broke. i used the tip of a pretty small screwdriver to pull & "pop" the loop from the outside thru the hole However Please make sure to hold the bottom of the tray tight to the cedar so you don't pop the entire bottom off.as it's only stapled together. Hope this helps.

Answer:	Rain will certainly wet the seed. If it hangs wet for very long, the seed will mold, and the birds won't eat it. The hungry little beggars in my yard rarely let that happen. If this is a concern, hang the sock under a domed squirrel baffle. That will act like an umbrella. You could hang the sock under a covered area (like a porch), but be aware that some of the seed will end up on the ground under the sock. It is NOT 100% efficient.
