Answer:	No. Tried it with regular birdseed but no birds ate from them. I don't know why, but I will try again with dried mealworms.

Answer:	I would assume a few might, given that some stubborn mourning doves regularly tuck into mine even though it’s really too small for them. It was amusing to see them figuring out how to get to the seed (they are birds of little brain, and landing on the very top was initially their frustrated strategy). That said, the doves only tried to glean from the ground for the first year, so you may or may not get them.

Answer:	I do not believe so. Hole at the bottom is about 3/4 inch, but holds the anchor to the food lid. Great feeder though.
Question:	Would this bird feeder work for meal worms? As in would the bird be able to get the worm out of the hole/base
Answer:	I am assuming freeze dried meal worms. Could not use them unless you ground/broke up the meal worms. This is made for small birds that eat small seeds. A few large sunflower seeds can slow it down.
