Question:	Whats the difference between the black one and the silver color
Answer:	I have this stainless steel (silver) one but from my previous research the previous model (without the stainless steel accent) didn't have a hinged glass lid like this one and they re-designed the slide tray where the water is put to prevent smoking. The previous model also, didn't have ceramic non-stick coating I think. Otherwise, no difference that I can tell - same controls and cooking temp. This model also doesn't have the free griddle plate (it's free but you have to pay approx. $16 ship/handling to get it).
Question:	What makes the surface nonstick? Is it coated with something
Answer:	It appears to be a "Ceramic" coating which is the best non-stick from an environmentally safe perspective. The coating is very effective at preventing sticking and it's very easy to rinse off. I don't use any soaps/chemicals to clean it because they degrade the surface and the non-stick will break down - rinsing with hot tap water and wiping with a wet rag cleans it well enough.

Question:	What's the highest temperature this can withstand? I may want to add more smoke flavor to meats, etc
Answer:	Perhaps your question should be along the lines of finding out the highest temperature your pellets will continue to smoke and not flame. This smoker will handle much, much more heat than your pellets. As for me, I put my cold meat on to smoke about an hour longer if I have time before I start to cook. This will give the meat a more smoky flavor.

Bartee,You can use propane torch on low to light the pellets.I also send you full instructions for use.First time use : Burn your new Pellet Smoker Tube 12" in your grill or smoker for 30 minutes at 275°. This will remove any residual manufacturing oils.Step 1: Hole you tube vertically and fill it with your favorite wood pellets. Make sure your wood pellets are moisture free.Step 2: Use a propane torch on low to light the pellets through the open end for 15-30 seconds until a small flame will appear on the top. Make sure the pellets are burning well for 5 to 10 minutes. When the time passed blow the flame out.Step 3: Using caution when handling the tube, as the metal can be hot, lay it horizontally inside your smoker or grill in an area with good ventilation.Regard,LizzQ Customer Service Team

Answer:	The rotisserie turns 360 degrees. It has a feature that changes direction of rotation from clockwise to counter clockwise when turned off and then turned back on. I don't know why it has this feature. Obviously, it does not change the exposure to heat. I have used the unit several times without any problem. It is well made. I like it.
