Answer:	I bought this as a gift for my son-in-law to protect their cedar deck from their new webber grill. I would consider it more for spills and splashes vs heat insulation. Grill does not get hot by the wheels, don't know how hot your smoker gets.

Answer:	The igniter that I bought had to wires that hooked into it. I can tell you that it fit just fine and works great. My Ducane grill was made in 2005.

Answer:	I don’t know why not. I’ve use parchment in there so these should work great.

Answer:	Honestly I use the solid mats a lot more than the grid mats. I grill scallops, vegetables, and fish on the solid mats. I have done fish on the grids, but they are a pain to clean.
Question:	After using mat for some reason there is some sticky spot. I have washed with soap and water and still there. Any suggestions how to get it off
