Answer:	The skewers have their own little space. There's 8 small straps that hold them in place. The cleaning brush only has two straps and it's sized bigger for the size of the cleaning brush. It wouldn't fit.

Answer:	They are a very sturdy plastic which are fine for carrying food to and from the BBQ. I also carve on them with no problems and they are fine in the dishwasher.

Answer:	My insert cracked on my 6 qt. crockpot and the cost of just buying a replacement insert vs. the cost if a brand new one is pretty minimal. I opted to get the 7 qt crockpot. Be beware: It does not have a delayed timer on it.
