Answer:	Youd actually be better off using an automotive exhaust gas temperature gauge with K type thermocouple. They can handle in excess of 1000F and are very accurate. Will require wiring with a wallwart for 12VDC, and dealing with the gauge pod so you can mount it up but they are available for much less than most cooking thermometers.

Question:	Is the transmitter unit weather resistant
Answer:	it is not! Do not leave in the rain. You will notice condensation in the digital window, that is a sure sign electronics are not happy for long. I experienced this, had to disassemble the unit and allow to dry. I do love this product because of the customer service and value. I think these are great for what they are intended to do.
Question:	Can multiple units be used simultaneously, without interfering with each other? I'd like to use three at the same time
Answer:	There will be some interference yes. I was running 3 side by side for 12-16 hours per day and I had to occasionally walk away with a set to get them to re-sync to each other. It was probably once a day or so tops between all three units, so all in all not a major issue.

Answer:	Get an adult drum kit if the player is 5ft. Or more I am 5'5" bass 22" w X18" D snare 14" w X 6.5" D Tomtoms 10" 12"14" +16" With 6" 8" + 10" rototoms he will grow and he will get more use out of the adult drums. Just make sure it is not a huge bass drum

Answer:	I would imagine so. I recently ordered this, put it together and found out my snare came without the snare wires. I sent them an email (via amazon's contact the seller option) and they responded back in less than the expected timeframe. I just sent a couple pictures of the snare, explained the situation and they replied back stating that they would ship a proper snare back out to me.
