Answer:	The quality and texture of the outer surface, suggest that this cover would stand up as well as any, and probably better. It appears that it would be less likely to crack than some which I have had previously. And it should reflect sun better than a dark colored cover. I am in the mountains and it has been relatively hot but the cover is under a porch roof, so can not address your question from experience.
