It works, but doesn't look perfectly uniform. Not much choice out there anymore :-( The Weber cover is flimsy garbage these days, this is an improvement, but not the best.

It appears that it would be less likely to crack than some which I have had previously. And it should reflect sun better than a dark colored cover. I am in the mountains and it has been relatively hot but the cover is under a porch roof, so can not address your question from experience.
