3 best rv grills

RV grills are portable grilling appliances designed specifically for use with recreational vehicles (RVs) and outdoor camping. They are typically compact, easy to transport, and can be powered by propane or gas. These grills are popular among RV enthusiasts and campers for their convenience and ability to provide delicious outdoor cooking experiences. Here's what you should know about RV grills:

  1. Types of RV Grills:

    • Propane Grills: Propane RV grills are a popular choice due to their convenience and portability. They are powered by propane gas canisters, which are easy to connect and use. Propane grills often heat up quickly and are known for their even cooking.

    • Gas Grills: Some RV grills can be connected to the RV's built-in gas supply. These grills are usually larger and offer more cooking space than propane grills. They are a good option for RVers who prefer a stationary setup.

  2. Portability:

    • RV grills are designed to be compact and portable, making them easy to transport and set up at campsites or RV parks.
    • Many RV grills come with folding legs or mounting options, allowing them to be used on tables, RV bumpers, or grill stands.
  3. Cooking Space and Features:

    • RV grills vary in size and cooking area, so you can choose one that suits your needs.
    • Some RV grills come with additional features such as temperature control knobs, side tables, warming racks, and even griddles or smokers for versatile cooking options.
  4. Fuel Efficiency:

    • Propane and gas RV grills are generally fuel-efficient, making them suitable for extended trips where you may not have easy access to refills.
    • Look for grills with adjustable heat settings to conserve fuel as needed.
  5. Maintenance and Cleaning:

    • Like any grill, RV grills require regular cleaning and maintenance to ensure they function efficiently and last longer.
    • Many RV grills have removable grates and drip trays that can be cleaned easily.
  6. Safety Considerations:

    • Always follow safety guidelines when using RV grills. Ensure proper ventilation and keep the grill away from flammable materials.
    • Check and test gas connections for leaks before use.
  7. Accessories:

    • You can enhance your RV grilling experience with accessories like grill covers, utensil sets, grill mats, and propane hose extensions.
  8. Storage:

    • Consider how and where you'll store the grill when it's not in use. Some RV grills are designed to fold up compactly for storage in RV compartments.

RV grills are a popular addition to RVing and camping adventures, allowing you to enjoy freshly grilled meals in the great outdoors. When selecting an RV grill, think about your cooking needs, available storage space, and how you plan to use it during your travels. With the right RV grill, you can enhance your outdoor cooking experience and savor delicious meals while on the road.

User questions & answers

Question: Can you use it indoors
Answer: So I can’t hook it up to a 1lb. Bottle? What do I need to go with grill to enable it to go with 1lb. Or 20lb. Tank.
Question: Does this grill fit on the Cuisinart stand model number CFGS
Answer: No!!! I made a wood top to fit within the cfgs 150 stand then mounted the cgg-306 Grill to it. Also the stand was reinforced to remain ridged and upright as a permanent fixture with tank installed. Very easy to accomplish with basic woodworking skills. Bought a universal smoker cover to protect it and it takes up so little space on the deck.
Question: Is this grill RV "quick connect" adaptable?. It doesn't show it but I'm assuming it only has a typical propane bottle screw connect
Answer: Yes, with the right hose (it's NOT a propane bottle screw connect). At the grill end you need a 3/8" female flare connector -- and then whatever your RV requires on the other end (typically a male quick connect). And of course no regulator since the RV connect is already regulated to lower pressure. I looked around quite a bit and had a hard time finding a hose online (including at Amazon). Found one at propane gear dot com, SKU 32630, works perfectly.
Question: does it come with a propane hose
Answer: The Cuisinart CGG-306 comes with a 38 inch hose that will reach from a 32 inch table top to a tank sitting on the floor. Google this model, you'll see Cuisanart's own site for this model. Download the manual. It says a 38" hose comes in the box.

Product features

Ready to use in minutes

The Cuisinart Chef's Style Stainless Tabletop Grill can be ready for grilling in less than ten minutes, without the need for tools or matches. It features a powerful two-burner system with electronic ignition and dedicated control knobs for each stainless steel burner--cooking choices that are not available on other portable grills. The locking cover, folding legs, and a comfortable carrying handle makes it easy to take anywhere. It's perfect for picnics, tailgating, camping, the beach, or anywhere a reliable grill is needed. Requires a 20 lb. tank of propane (not included).

Perfect for large cuts of meat

If you want to roast or smoke large cuts of meat, indirect grilling on a two-burner grill is the best method. The Cuisinart Chef's Style Stainless Tabletop Grill is ideal for cooking whole chickens, turkey, briskets and large cuts of meat. The meat is first seared over a hot burner and then moved to the cool side of the grill where it can slowly cook in an oven-like environment. The heat is controlled by the burner that's farthest from the meat, which ensures that it isn't charred on the outside and under cooked in the center. And since the meat will not be over direct heat there is no need to flip or turn it.

Made for people who love to grill

With total temperature control it's easy to get professional results every time. A stainless steel grate offers superior heat conduction so that foods cook evenly, and the two-burner system allows for a cooking environment that can heat up to 700° or more. Each stainless steel burner provides 10,000 BTUs. With both burners in use you will have 20,000 BTUs of fire that can heat up the grill in no time. Sear meats on the hottest burner while simultaneously roasting vegetables on the cooler one. An accurate built-in thermometer makes it easy to monitor temperatures at a glance.

All stainless-steel construction

The Cuisinart Chef’s Style Stainless Tabletop Grill is made entirely of stainless steel and weighs less than 25 lbs., so it's light enough to carry anywhere, and small enough to fit in a compact car.

More control over heat

An integrated thermometer and adjustable burner knobs help you control the heat of the grill for any use, whether it's for warming, baking, roasting or searing. A twist-start automatic ignition means that matches are never required.

A lifetime of enjoyment

The Cuisinart Chef’s Style Stainless Tabletop Grill requires no assembly. Fold open the legs, attach the gas source and start the fire with the twist of a knob. It's an ideal gift for those who appreciate chef style grilling wherever they go.
