That doesn't mean that you "can't" use another tank with it, but it probably means that it's inadvisable and likely invalidates the warranty. I have not tried to hook anything other than 1-lb. propane tank to it (Ace Hardware brand), so I can't say for sure what is possible. I can only say that I wouldn't try to do it because I'm pretty squeamish about possible leaks using hardware that's no recommended by the manufacturer. |
