Answer:	No tape or pipe dope is needed. Chances are it is a small crack on the plastic threaded part. That is what happened to mine. It finally broke all the way. But with a small crack it will not seal. We got what we paid for. I went to the hardware store and boight a good one for $30.

Question:	Can this be used to smoke or would it use too much propane? Also, do you need lava rocks? I have only used charcol in the past. Thanks
Answer:	You can definitely slow cook with this, and add a smoke box with wood chips to flavor the meat more. If doesn't require rocks as it has metal flavorizer bars that the cooking meat will drip on and then transfer the grilled flavor to the finished product. I think you could get several hours from a tankful of propane. Have done this with my old gas grill before. I suggest using one burner and placing the meat on one side or the other or in the middle for.this grill and try keeping the temp to around 225 degrees F

Answer:	Removing the old igniter and measuring the opening in the control panel will tell you if it will fit into the grill (7/8 in.). If your grill has a 7/8 in. opening, then the number of electrode leads on your existing igniter would be the indicator of which option to order (i.e. 4 outlet or 6 outlet). Or just order the 6 outlet to be sure you will have enough connections. Lastly, the size of the connector leads needs to be checked. There are two common widths for spade connectors, and this igniter uses the more narrow type.

Answer:	I bought a 2-pack of Harwerrel Quick Release Plates (ASIN B07HG56JHT) and they didn't fit. Looking up the Arca-Swiss standard, the opening needs to accommodate 38mm, but my Pergear TH3 only opens up to about 36.5mm. The "standard" Harwerrel won't fit, since it's almost exactly 38mm wide.

Answer:	Manufacturer website refers as • 430 Stainless lid+, door+, & side shelves They also have an explanation why their grills are luxury grill for this price (like having side searer etc.) Steel Grades 304 is the superior grade and we use it in our burners because it simply last longer and holds up to heat and corrosion much better than other grades. The downside is that 304 steel is very expensive and drives up the price of a gas grill dramatically if used for the body. That is why the body of our stainless grills are 430 grade stainless steel, a cost saving for the customer, allowing us to offer a luxury grill under a $600 retail. 430 Stainless is still very corrosion resistant but less so than 304. To dispel the myth not all stainless steel is non-magnetic, 304 is not magnetic but 430 will attract a magnet.
