Answer:	I pretty sure it would melt if placed inside as you state. Only the stem of the device should be exposed to the heat and remainder outside of the oven.

Answer:	I would steer clear of the analog models like this one. I bought this and mounted it on my smoker and as long as the temp is low, it is accurate. I bought a maverick redi chek a few months later (too notch) and realized that this analog model may creep way past your desired temp but display a lower temp. So the thermometer might show 230 but the temp is actually 300+. If you can swing it, I would go with the better model, such as maverick et732.

Answer:	Not sure of the size, but it smaller than 1/2" NPT.

Answer:	The drawing shows 3/8", but that is tight, so will need to ream that hole a bit. Or you could just drill a 7/16" hole, which works out well. In either case, be sure to start with a pilot hole or you will ruin the enamel coating of your BBQ.

Answer:	Typically 6 steaks (1 lb each). 6-10 hamburgers. Mostly depends on the size of your grill. For larger needs or some that might require longer cooking, I pour the burning coals on to of unlit coals and let them transfer the heat.

Answer:	When using with a chimney, I light the cube on the bottom of the BBQ and then place the chimney right on top of it. Works great and you have red coals in no time!

Answer:	Starting campfires is precisely the reason I purchased these in the first place... They work like a charm, in fact, much better than kindling because very small pieces of wood incinerate quickly where this has a nice slow burn which will help get your fire started. Here's a piece of advice, if you're not already doing so dig a small hole at the bottom of your fire pit to shield wind from these cubes. It's just about the only drawback of these things that I can say. Their heat is not intense and are prone to being blown out in the right wind conditions. If you just having small campfires these things are fantastic. Hope this helps.

Answer:	Please check on the NEC website, but a gfci is not an overload device, but a device to trip if a fault to ground occurs. Therefore, the amperage has no bearing on your problem. More lightly a grounding or a damp appliance.

Answer:	It does come with screen. It's not retractable screen. It is a static and you have to mount at one place. I didn't use the screen because I purchased retractable screen from Amazon.

Answer:	They are for lighting Charcoal briquette and lumps for cooking! They will burn at least 8-10 minutes to get the charcoal gets fully lit!
Question:	Can I place starter at bottom of pile of charcoal then light corners of starter? And how to use with charcoal chimney
Answer:	You would use it just as you would with a chimney starter. just place in in the coals pile, and make sure there is airflow for it to burn. This product is awesome. it will light wet or dry.
