Answer:	Typically 6 steaks (1 lb each). 6-10 hamburgers. Mostly depends on the size of your grill. For larger needs or some that might require longer cooking, I pour the burning coals on to of unlit coals and let them transfer the heat.

Answer:	The handle is some sort of plastic wrapped around metal, as near as I can tell. It is far enough away from the chimney that it doesn't appear to get hot even when the coals in the chimney are glowing bright orange.

The only negative about this chimney is that it is really quite small; so, it works best with small portable grills. I think most people would be better off with the full size chimney, as you have a bit more versatility as to the amount of charcoal you are lighting up.

Answer:	More than enough to keep the grill hot for 2 hours, we LOVE this thing and tend to use too much charcoal. Probably holds 1 LB
