Answer:	As long as the battery is always connected there will not be a problem with the alternator. If you have to remove or disconnect the battery, disconnect the panel first, the "no load" voltage of the panel may cause a problem in the system. 12 ga. should be fine.

Answer:	hello, Provided the substrate surfaces are prepped as 3M described, the application temperature of the workshop/substrates/adhesive is about 65-70F, and the substrates are NOT silicone and/or PTFE(Teflon), then the adhesive should not fail under vibration. 2216 gray is a flexible/shock resistant epoxy that set the standard about 40+ years ago and once cured, 2216 will flex with dissimilar substrates bonds like metals to plastic during ambient temperature changes. Again, if mixing/application temperature is cold, the curing process will slow down dramatically (almost stop). Can be heat cured to speed up curing process. Thank you

Answer:	Hello, 3M's actual shelf life policy for the gray 2216 B/A all sizes is 24 month from DATE of SHIPMENT (DOS) not date of manufacturer (DOM). DOS means when it leaves the 3M warehouse. We know this because it has 3M's policy for over 35 years and when we buy the 2216 directly from 3M, we order their Certificate of Conformance which shows the shelf policy and ship date. Answer:	No. To power that fridge on AC voltage (450 watts÷ 12 VDC = JUST UNDER 40 AMPS.) 200 wattage solar panels = 17 Amps. If your running propane then yes, there will be enough power to control the valves. Be sure you have enough battery storage. Renogy has great info on their site. Jim.
Question:	Does this kits come wih the connectors needed to run both panels in series as opposed to separate? Or does one need to buy additional connectors
Answer:	You do not need additional cables or adapters beyond what is in the kit if you want to connect both panels in series. That is how I have mine set up, so I can deliver higher voltage (and less amperage) from the panels to the controller. The MPPT controller handles this quite well. You only need an additional adapter if you want to connect the panels in parallel, but with only two panels and the MPPT controller, I don't know why you would want to do that.

Answer:	This system does not come with branch connectors. With the MPPT controller we recommend wiring your panels in series. Your Rover controller will take the higher input voltage and step it down on the output to match the charging voltage of the selected battery type. It will take the excess voltage and convert it to additional amperage to send to the battery.

I watched a you tube instructional video on how to remove the door. Once on the floor I pressed one side of the door to the other underneath the screen material. Once the front was secured with the back I took a razor blade and cut around the swinging door and the installqtion was complete. Your dog (or cat) door will look exactly like the one in the picture once installed. All this to say if your door is like mine you don't need the zip ties for this installation.

Answer:	70% real world output is about average output. So you can expect about 11a total output from a 200w panel.

Answer:	With all solar panels you do not hook the panel directly to the battery you have to have a charge controller. I use mine every day to charge my jump box and batteries for my solar generator. Works very well. I do recommend opening the black box and making sure all you tabs are connected well, before installing.

Answer:	In Full sun light it can produce 4-5 amps at about 18-20 volts. Doing the math 4x18=72 watts. I did measure under ideal conditions 20V and about 5A. Doing the math 5x20=100 watts. But But realistically under most conditions the average out put on a give full Sun cloudless day it is more like 4A and 19 volts. 4x19=76watts. Every installation and location is efferent, but this is a rough theoretical estimation. I fireguard on the slightly lower side as dust on the panels and in the air, haze and clouds (often there are high thin clouds that are not easily seen on a bright day). Also remember if you use a charge controller made for solar panels, like I do( Amazon has some $20 dollar ones for small arrays liket I use), The controller will very the charging current as needed to charge the battery. So when you install the panels place them so you get the most Sun Light for the longest time in both summer and winter. The angle of the Sun on the panel can vary greatly if the panel is mounted in a fixed position. This is the easiest mounting method and the most common method. It is less expensive and low maintenance as there are no motors or moving parts. Figure about a 20-23 degree angle of the panel to the Sun as the earth is tilted about that much. This change through the year, but is a good rough guide to start. You may want to do something different at your location. I use two of them and charge two 146 amp hour deep cycle batteries and my panels are not tilted as I live in an apartment and cant mount them like I would like to do. On Sunny days the two panels can take two to four days to fully charge the TWO Batteries depending how much I use the during any given day. But remember my Installation the panels are in a sheltered place and NOT Tilted. So I think if the two panels were mounted like they need to be( As I suggested above) they would work better. Hope this helps. As you can tell it is not a fixed answer as there are many thing that govern the output of the solar panel(s).

Answer:	I was able to keep my battery charged just fine with a single panel. You can connect them in series or parallel, depending on your energy needs. I assume as many as you need.

This panel includes a PWM controller which is less capable than an MPPT, but the charge controller only applies if you are charging something that does not include its own type of charge controller. It is possible your generator USES an MPPT already (most if not all "solar generators" that I know of have a controller), but I can't say for sure based on the information you've provided - I would need more to give you a better answer.

Answer:	I ordered a 14 gauge, 3 foot SAE plug extension, cut one plug end off, wired directly to the battery controller's out terminal (CHECK POLARITY !), a 15' SAE extension cord, and plug directly into my trailer's SAE solar plug port. Charges my trailer battery just fine.

Answer:	You absolutely CAN use this panel with the Explorer 500 - I have used this exact panel to power my Jackery 500 more than once (at quite an impressive rate, I might add). The only reason this panel is not compatible right out of the box is because it doesn't have an adapter large enough. The only thing you would need is an MC4 to 8mm adapter, which you can easily find on Amazon (I spent $25 for a really nice 3-ft MC4 to 8mm adapter from SolarEnz).
