Answer:	Deployed on his backpack for use, probably not. At 3 pounds, 13 inches wide and 4 feet long; with eyelets at one unfolded end and the USB output at the opposite end. This 40W unit attached to a pack is going to hang long and swing as he hunts. The charging efficiency will also depend on decent sunlight shining directly on as many of the panels to get the most usable output... in other words, the sun at his back. Folded-up (not deployed)... not easily attached to... it needs to be stowed in his pack.
Question:	Can i charge my phones on the dc outlet? is there an adapter for it
Answer:	It without stepping down the 18v to 5v. You would need to step from the dc output to a module that converts the 18v 2.2A output to 5v. Amperage would theoretically max out just south of 8A, but would depend on the efficiency of the converter. You could then connect any usb device you would like.

Answer:	Think of the running watts as the generator stabilizing its power output & staying level. When you plug another item into it that means it has to do more or output more power for a few seconds it amps up to compensate for the new item plugged in. A quick surge in watts happens & eventually levels out back to the running watts. If it happens to go over the max surge watts too far it'll shut off.

Answer:	There is no way to put any maps on this unit but it does have storage to make your own maps. It has a mapping feature so you can map the depths of your favorite lake. The specs says it will hold 1 million acres of lake maps. Granted, you have to be on a boat and troll to do the mapping but it does work and it works rather well.
Question:	For in hull transducer mounts for a fiberglass boat, Garmin suggested putting the transducer in a container full of antifreeze. Any other methods
Answer:	I can’t speak to fiberglass as I use mine on kayak. However I do use my transducer shooting thru hull attached with duct seal that forms a reservoir around transducer and then I add water. That works perfectly! Duct seal is $3 at Lowe’s or Home Depot.

Answer:	This one has a feature where you can contour maps the bottom of any lake or river you're in.

Answer:	Don't drill holes in your boat. Find an old 3/8-1/2" plastic cutting board and cut a 4x4 piece out of it and using 3m sticky tape mount it to the transom and use short screws to mount the transducer to the piece of cutting board. Did that back in 1979 and has never come loose.

Answer:	I know from experience it can read depths as shallow as 1 foot but I don’t know the exact limitations or specs. The problem that renders this and any fish finder useless in shallow water is the amount of vegetation and its direct proximity. In shallow water with dense vegetation reaching the surface you’re most likely only going to see screen noise displayed which may effect the abilities to properly gauge water depths. If there is no vegetation and the ground is of solid structure then this will work fine in water 10’ or less.

Question:	looking to mount this permanently in the rear of my car. Does the unit turn on when connected to power source or does power button need to be pushed
Answer:	I had to check because I had never thought much about this possibility before. I plugged in a my 12 volt in my truck that is powered when ignition is turned on and upon vehicle start the Glo2 turned on automatically and started searching for a gps signal and a bluetooth signal as well. When I turned off ignition the Glo2 stays on due to the internal battery in the Glo2. So really it will never turn off unless Glo2 battery dies. However, even if Glo2 battery dies it should still start back up upon ignition since that is the other option to run it or charge it anyways. I have left in my RZR and truck for days using it on and off it plugged into a 12 volt source with never an issue. It's a great little unit. Hope this helps.

Answer:	I think you can generally expect to see accuracy to within 100 feet. I’m talking about when you use it in a car, which is what I do.

Answer:	For Android, "Bluetooh GPS" app does pretty much what you describe and is the app recommended by Garmin when configuring the GLO/GLO2 for android devices.

Answer:	Have not tried it with Trackmaster on Android. It's more dependent upon the App though than the transponder, as the gps receiver works fine with both iPhones and Androids, as long as one remembers to switch the toggle switch to the corresponding format.

Answer:	I do a lot of geocaching and the XGPS150 works great. The navagation program I mostly use is called copilot and it does have voice directions but I don't think that has anything to do with the XGPS150 but with the program. I have not tried it with google maps but again that would depend on if google maps supports voice directions. I am using it with 2 different iPads, a 2 and a mini and it works great on both. Answer:	I use to conjunction with my 3GS Iphone and an App called Harrys Lap Timer. I ride motorcycles on the track and the GPS works very well with it. I had to wire in a cigarette port into my bike to power both the phone and the GPS to get any real battery life. Once I did this it worked perfectly I'm very satisfied.

Answer:	it does, however when you plug in the USB charging cable while in use, and switch out of/back into the Dual Electronics SkyPro app - I have noticed it take more than 10-20 seconds to reacquire signal if not in direct satellite view (e.g. driving on forest covered road). This was concerning on my first initial tests while driving, though in subsequent tests (with more clear sky coverage) the app seemed to to reacquire GPS signal and location in

Answer:	Yes. As long as it has Bluetooth, it will work.

Answer:	Yes, it can. You will need to download a free app called "Bluetooth GPS" first though. It acts as an interface and allows your android device to receive the outputs from the Bad Elf. Bonus: by using the Bad Elf as a GPS source, your battery life on your android device is significantly extended, so it's a good idea!
Question:	How long does the battery last on this thing
Answer:	I was able to use it on a 12 hour flight and around an hour driving connecting via bluetooth to a single device without recharging. 10 hours is a good estimate if you keep the lcd light setting on "momentary on" (where it lights for about 5 secs after pressing the power switch) but it could probably go longer. Its only drawback, although a very minor one is that the charging port in this model is the usb-a type, not usb-b which is used in a lot of smartphones today so you might have to bring multiple wires üEdit: lasted around 18 hours this time. A near 14 hour flight, turned it off for 2 days, no recharge and around 6 hours before battery finally quit

Answer:	I've take one with me up to Alaska for the last 8 years. Setup is about five minutes on the 14' Lunds we rent up there.After the first time, the transducer cable length is established so stuff it in the side pouch at the end of the day. The rest of the cable stays wrapped up on the hanger inside the portable unit.The unit is very stable and sits nicely on the bench in front of me, even in the bumps.I keep a Scotchbrite pad in another pouch on the unit. Scrub a spot on the transom before sticking the suction cup on.I keep some tiewraps in the side pouch. Use a tiewrap to tie off the transducer cable to something on the boat. The suction cup holds up to 20 mph... until it doesn't. Tiewrapping the cable to the boat keeps the transducer out of the prop.

Answer:	Usually people will fix the transducer on the hull of the kayak (the outside). Because the transducer can only be working when it touches the water.

Answer:	Yes it works well for ice fishing, although you must drop the transducer below the ice in order for it to read depth accurately. I also found that it has the potential to mis-detect large tube jigs as a fish, but I actually don’t mind that as it tells me how deep my bait is. I also use this with my kayak mounted with the bracket, so I get double duty. Battery life is fantastic even in below zero temps. I’ve been out with it on several outings below freezing and I’m still on the same set of batteries! I would recommend this product.

For Kayak Fishing

1. Attach the Side-Scan Adapter to the boat hull using the mounting tabs.
2. Break though the hull of a boat. Place the fishing sonar sensor against the hull bottom 1 inch underwater.
3. The moving speed of kayak should be below 5mph.

For Ice Fishing

1. You should clear the snow on the ice layer. Make sure the surface is smooth enough. Put the LUCKY fish finder portable directly on ice layer to detect fish distribution in purpose of selecting a place to drill a hole.
2. There should be no air between the sensor and the ice and no air between ice layer and the underwater either. Otherwise, the portable fish finder will not work properly.
3. Cut a hole through the ice and put the fishing sonar sensor directly in the water. Enjoy the fishing gear

Answer:	I've found it quite durable. I store mine in a SanDisk USB drive cover and it is in my pocket when I'm out.

Answer:	Yes, it has a hole, but I'd put a jump ring between the drive and the key ring to put less stress on the plastic of this product. I don't know how brittle it is, but you'd not want the plastic to break and the drive to fall off.

Answer:	of course! it works exactly like an external hard drive... though of course like all hard drives it isnt exactly 128g. It could be 127.9g or even 126g

Answer:	I just got one of these to back up the data on my Win8 laptop. It's as slow as MUD. I connected an external hard drive to the SAME USB port, and it was FAR faster. Avoid at all cost.I'd suggest this as the best alternative (get the 64GB for $50 rather than the 32GB for $45): Mushkin Ventura Pro 64 GB Flash Drive. It is USB3 but works very well on USB2 (and it's fast there too). One Xbox 360 user said it works perfectly (read the comments). Answer:	When you enter in a destination you will have an option to choose from 3 different calculated routes. If you are wanting to create a custom route to go down specific roads, there is a Trip Planner feature built into the device which will allow you to insert shaping points along a road to take a specific route.

Answer:	My new phone 51 has a battery life of about 5 minutes! No longer even if plugged in overnight. It sucks for anything other than using it in the car. I do have a large auxiliary battery I use with my cell, and I can plug the 51 into that for a longer live. They sell another unit with a 2 hour life but I would not trust the data they at GARMIN have. I was very disappointed at the short battery life. I intended to use it in the city when I had to walk and not burn up cell minutes.

You have two options, lay it near the sun for about 24 hours for a full charge, or reverse the USB cord and plug it into your laptop or computer and in about an hour you will see FOUR blue bars on the solar charger. You can then charge your cellphone with just these two devices. No looking for an outlet.
