Answer:	I purchased this system to act as a 'test bed' prior to buying my main dual-axis 2 panel system (Two 250W, 24V 8A panels). It's a monocrystilline 100w panel stated to output 5 amps, 12volts. I see consistent 13~14 volts at 4 amps, and have hit 5 amps on really good days (but 4A are more realistic). As a test item, I had it charging a 73AH Deep Cycle Gel battery from West Marine (the panel came with a 30A PWM charge controller). It worked fine and charged the battery in a matter of short hours ( I have both an amp meter and a volt meter connected to track its output). Previously, I was using two 45W amorphous panels (Harbor Freight) that took up to 4 days to do what this one panel can do in 4 hours. Buy with confidence.

Just get a controller that will do the voltage. MPPT will get you 15-25% more power from your panels. Also If you are using lithium batteries you need a charger that you can set charging voltages manually.
Question:	when it says 100 watts, is that per hour, per a number of hours, how does that work
Answer:	Let's do some quick math, 100 watts in full sunlight on a summer day for 6 hours is 600 watt hours input to a 12 volt 100 amp hour battery. 600 / 12 volts is 50 amp hours. If you have a 100 amp hour battery and your final voltage when the sun goes down is 12 .6 volts you have a somewhat new lead acid battery. At 12.6 volts A new battery will give you all 100 amp hours of it's capacity by the time it reaches 12.0 volts. A 3000 watt inverter at 120 volts produces / uses 25 amps. 25 * 60 mins = 1500 amp hrs * 24 hrs = 36000 amp hours per day to feed the monster. Don't try too cheat the math it has no conscience, I can't afford the batteries yet. The only argument anyone can offer is you don't use it all 24 hours do you?, Bet me!

Answer:	The beauty of the "suitcase" solar panels are they are not attached but portable and set up on the ground with cables running to the RV battery. I'm confident Renogy has non=suitcase panels that have a mounting system that can be affixed to your RV roof and then the solar panels attached permanently there-on. You may even rig the "suitcase" panels with some creativity but the big draw for me was the portability. I use a 15' cable and 2 locks to secure it to the trailer. For the record - they work great and I wish I had them 10 years ago. Renogy is a fine product that works as advertised. Research which system works best for your needs and good luck. Answer:	There are still problems with the legs. I had mine less than a week and the housings that the legs attach to broke. They are made of plastic which is not sufficient for the amount of use a portable system gets. Luckily my husband is a machinist and he made me a housing out of metal. It will never break again. It is a great solar system except for that issue.

Solar system kit wiring method and precautions

1.The solar system kit connection is divided into parallel connection or serial connection. The controller must be first connect the battery , and then connect the solar panels.

2.When the solar panels are connected in series or in parallel, paid to the highest PV input voltage of the controller. The voltage connected in parallel to the controller after the series connection cannot exceed the maximum input voltage of the controller.
