Answer:	I got the Deer Feeder Elite, which has the feeder and timer. i bought a Moultrie MFHP12406 6-Volt, 5-Amp Rechargeable Safety Battery. i had a charger already. Any 6-volt cell (lantern type) will also work. and don't forget the corn/feed:) the elite has leg extensions (included) which lifts the barrel 8 feet, so think about adding 50lb of feed, or as i do back the truck up and add to the barrel small bucketfuls. Answer:	No, it's not. It is just a typical 55 gallon drum with holes that are pre drilled to fit the spreader. The lid is a clamp style that has a bolt you have to losses to take it off. The only downside that I can really complain about is that it doesn't have any type of feet for the legs to keep them from digging in the soil. I had to put down 2X6's to keep this from happening and it seems to be doing just fine so far.

Answer:	Yes & no. I have a Moultrie Food Plot Spreader ( 50 lb capacity ) that the motor went bad. Moultrie was Out of Stock. This one works but you will need to slightly “ beef up” the shaft for the spinner plate. It does not fit perfectly, but it has been working ok and gets the job done.

Question:	I cannot fit the alligator clips through the bushing for the life of me to feed the wire through! Am I missing something here
Answer:	before you try to slip through. take the alligator clip and open the jaws by gripping a pencil or something. Slide the insulated cover back off the clip onto the wire. Do this for both wires. then slide the clip through then squeeze the rubber insulator through. Then reverse the process for putting the insulator back on the clip.
