Answer:	Assuming you have everything hooked up correctly, at 3.5 GPM, the MAX TEMP will be NO MORE THAN 55 degrees ABOVE THE TEMPERATURE OF THE INCOMING WATER. For example, if the incoming water temp is 50 degrees in the winter, then the max winter temp will be 105. In the summer, when the incoming water is 65 degrees, the max summer temp will be 120 degrees. This is the way ALL demand heaters work. Be SURE to check the TEMPERATURE RISE specification on ANY demand heater to know what it is truly capable of. If the TEMP RISE is specified at 3GPM, and you try to set it higher, it may CUT BACK THE FLOW RATE to achieve the higher temp, but it will NEVER exceed the TEMP RISE spec.

Answer:	I bought model V65EN. It came with a wired digital controller. The installer did not run the wire into the house and mount the controller indoors. He simply set the controller at 120 degrees and left the controller inside the unit. If I want to change the temp, I have to take the cover of the unit.

Answer:	Hot water is only produced when there is demand for it and there is a short delay while the water is heated. So, you can get a momentary cool water output, but I would not call it a problem. In fact, I hardly notice if it happens.

Answer:	The Rheem water heater uses 199,000 BTU or about 200 CF or 2 CCF. The Rheem installation manual is available on the Rheem web site. On page 53 of the manual, the manufacturer lists the minimum NG pipe size as 3/4 inch diameter. Typically, a tank type water heater has a 1/2 inch supply line that is reduced from a 3/4 inch or larger main supply line. So, you will need to replace the smaller gas line from the original reduction point to your new Rheem tankless water heater.

Answer:	Based on Rheems' product information on their web site and the product specifications on The Home Depot web site, Rheem makes two sizes of tankless natural gas fuels water heaters. One is rated at 8.4 gallons per minute and the other size is 9.5 gpm. Rheem also makes these two sizes in both "condensing" type and "non-condensing" type. The Rheem Ecosense line seems to be just a slight re-branding for The Home Depot and the re-branded product does not seem to be any different than the standard Rheem product sold on Amazon. The Rheem Ecosense ECOH200DVLN at The Home Depot seem to be the same as the RTGH-95DVLN 9.5 sold on Amazon. they are both condensing type (most efficient and easiest to vent) an they both produce a maximum of 9.5 gpm of hot water. Both are the largest capacity models made by Rheem. I have a 4200 sq. ft home with three bathrooms. We can have two showers going and the dishwasher with no reduction in hot water temperature even in the winter (near Chicago) when the inlet water is very cold. So, I would say that the Rheem RTGH-95DVLN 9.5 gpm unit will meet your hot water needs.

Answer:	NO! The installation instructions forbid a shared exhaust with another appliance. This would also cause problems with the pressure safety switch and your machines performance will be unreliable.

Answer:	The amount of water any tankless unit can deliver depends on how much it has to heat up the water. Example: if you home's incoming water in winter is 60 degrees Fahrenheit, and you want hot water at 95 degrees, you can get 11 GPM. You will freeze if that's all the hotter your hot water is, however. If your incoming cold water is never less than 65 degrees, and you want hot water at 110 degrees, you can get 8.5 GPM. Personally, I like my hot water at about 125 degrees, and our water it never gets colder than about 65 degrees. This unit is rated to supply 5.5 GPM, or a bit more, with a 60 degree rise in water temperature (from 65 degrees to 125 degrees). You can only crank the burners down so far, so to be safe the unit needs to have at least 1/2 GPM flowing through it. If you ever use just a tiny bit of hot water, this might create issues for you. Normal washing and showering usage will always need at least half a gallon per minute.

What sizes are the vent ports

Morgan, the answer is maybe. Over the years I've purchased different sets and sometimes they are interchangeable, sometimes not. That is why I recommend determining how many you will need and purchase a large enough lot for this with a spare or two. I have the ones I am replacing (after years of use followed by a decade of storage) on the dining room table now and will keep a couple that are interchangeable with each other for my non drinking water hose that I carry in the motorhome. Some of the older ones are interchangeable between manufacturers, but not all. Some brands are equipped with internal check valves. These do not have a check valve. My last set did. For this use, a check valve is not necessary adding additional complexity, cost and weight and actually makes it more difficult to connect the male into the female when the line is pressurized, and it is difficult to relieve the pressure. BTW, this is Linda's husband, and I still haven't used them. They do fit and are installed on my new drinking water hoses, long with the splitters and elbows I use to hook up the motorhome. Won't be using them for another month and a half. I believe they will work well for us. The only question is long term durability.

Answer:	No. I went through this the hard expensive way. You would need to wire these in series, not parallel. It is confusing for us non-electrical engineers. It would be a good idea to make a series kit because in my estimation most people who can afford a 50Amp RV aren't going to screw around with two generators when they can buy a Honda EU7000is. There are no consumer grade (affordable) 240v propane inverter generators available. Just loud dirty power.

However you will have to do some slight modifications. (IE) Drill and widen out the existing wheel mounting brackets to accommodate the larger axles. Then mount the handle to the frame with some bolts and 2 hose clamps. good luck.

No, this is not rated for that, Continuous duty generators cost $15K and up, run on diesel fuel or natural gas, engine operates at 1800 RPM, (4 pole generator). basically out of most peoples price range, and unless you have natural gas to the residence?

Most economical and safe whole home installation is a sliding plate on distribution panel, 30 amp “back feed” breaker, outdoor 30 amp plung-in box, 10 gauge wire (in conduit if exposed and susceptible to damage), 25 ft 240 volt generator connector cable, all for about $200 for DIY’s. DO NOT DEPEND ON ALWAYS REMEMBERING TO TURN OFF THE MAIN BREAKER!!!!!
