Answer:	To achieve 24 volts then (2) 12 volt panels are connected red to black. Then the 2 panels become (1) 24 volt panel. Then from that dual setup of panels you now have a 24 volt panel with 1 red wire and 1 black now carries 24 volts to the combiner box. The 6 panel's now are 3 separate 24 volt panel sets.

The charge controller is rated at 20a, so can easily handle the panels max output. How you set it up, equipment efficiencies, and solar conditions will affect the real power output. I use mine in a battery setup to keep them charged, and infrequently run an inverter off the batteries as needed, so I am not really tracking direct usage/amps....

Answer:	I purchased this system to act as a 'test bed' prior to buying my main dual-axis 2 panel system (Two 250W, 24V 8A panels). It's a monocrystilline 100w panel stated to output 5 amps, 12volts. I see consistent 13~14 volts at 4 amps, and have hit 5 amps on really good days (but 4A are more realistic). As a test item, I had it charging a 73AH Deep Cycle Gel battery from West Marine (the panel came with a 30A PWM charge controller). It worked fine and charged the battery in a matter of short hours ( I have both an amp meter and a volt meter connected to track its output). Previously, I was using two 45W amorphous panels (Harbor Freight) that took up to 4 days to do what this one panel can do in 4 hours. Buy with confidence.

Answer:	I did not measure the temperature difference, but it did not seem to make a difference. The fan does run quite strong so I suspect that it does pull heat out of the attic (that is, after you reverse the fan in its shroud so that it blows outward). However, I was very disappointed, after the fan motor completely died after two years.

Answer:	I mounted it in the roof gable vent and covered it with the slotted vent cover, so it doesn't get wet unless the rain is horizontal. Anyway, the motor burned out after two years. I don't recommend this product. I'm going to remove it and install a hard-wired electric attic vent fan.
