Answer:	With respect to "is it chargeable to 100% and on the 501st cycle, it will only charge to 80%" by username Amazon Customer: No. You'd still see "Charged to 100%" but the capacity at 100% would now be ~80% what it once was when new. Nothing to do with management systems or software. It's the inherent chemical and mechanical degradation in each cell, caused almost exclusively by basic charge cycles (namely, the latter 20% of the charge cycle, for lithium batts). It's normal wear and tare from charging... even in ideal circumstances and cool temperatures, it's unavoidable damage, but partially mitigated if you keep your cells under 70-80% state of charge (max); would be true if you stopped charging a powerstation, at 80% every time. Then it will take 3-4x longer to see the same degradation in that device's battery as 500 charge cycles worth, but still, unavoidable in the end. Same would be true for any device's battery, as long as it's a common lithium chemistry. That's why it's terrible to top-off cell phones, tablets, Nissan Leaf's, power packs, etc. because the latter 20% of charging costs like 60% of a full charge's wear-cycle.
