Answer:	Per the instructions found in the operator's manual, the choke lever should be set to the "choke" position while you are trying to start the unit. Once the engine is started, the choke lever should be moved to the "run" position, and it should remain their throughout the use of the generator. This model generator (030676) is not designed to adjust the engine speed down/up based on the loads that are added or removed to the unit. It should run at full speed once the generator stabilizes after a new load is added.

Answer:	For a computer or a TV, you'd want to plug into a small UPS that will regulate the power. Then power the UPS from the generator. Most people think of the battery backup of a UPS, but most UPS also regulate the power out while plugged in.

Answer:	It is indeed loud compared to most any inverter type generator primarily because it has to run at full throttle to develop 60 Hz and 120 and or 240V. This is true whether you run an alarm clock or a saw. For short back up it is fine but for long term needs (days) or something like camping it is a poor choice. Someone mentions a muffler but that is only a minor fix, fan noise also adds plenty of sound. For construction we can't stand loud generators and in fact at lunch when it is shut down it brings a whole new relaxed attitude. The noise will grind on you and your neighbors. For short term backup or power needs this is a decent generator.
