Answer:	So far, it is doing great damage to my JK, but it's advised to WAIT and spray in the fall when it's in full flower. This is when the plant will carry the poison down to the root. I'll know more next season, but after a year and a half of failed mechanical control, this seems to be working! The hard part is waiting and letting it flourish until it flowers!

Answer:	Yes it will. You will be doing a fair amount of digging up rhizomes (underground stems) and cutting down the stalks. Cut the bamboo down to soil level and wait for new shoots to grow back. Before you spray new bamboo leaves, make sure that you either cut or mow it down and then allow it to regrow. It sounds weird, but you need to let new bamboo grow. Vinegar weed killer won't be effective if the canes of the bamboo are well-developed. Sever any underground rhizomes when new shoots start to grow back. Use a sharp spade (or other sharp garden implement) to cut down the bamboo and sever the rhizomes of the bamboo. Break up as many clumps of rhizomes as possible. Apply vinegar full strength to the leaves, stalks, and shoots of the bamboo. Vinegar will kill the plants that it comes into direct contact with. This means that you'll need to be careful about applying it only to the bamboo.Vinegar needs to be sprayed onto the leaves, stalks, and shoots of the plant and allowed enough time to penetrate before any water dilutes it. Answer:	Ok there are two rates on the label. One is 6 ounces per gallon for spot treatments and the other is confusing and is more for spraying large areas. It says to use 7.4 ounces in 1 to 10 gallons of water and to spray that over 1000 square feet. Basically what that means is use whatever water between 1-10 gallons that it takes you to cover 1000 square feet at the pace you are working and the rate your sprayer is putting out spray. Answer:	Surprisingly, this worked on most of my simple weeds, I do not have poison ivy to kill but my first thought is this is not strong enough to eliminate that tuff invasive weed. I believe one of the popular brands actually makes a poison ivy killer. I googled "can vinegar kill poison ivy" and the answer is yes, white vinegar will kill poison ivy, though it might take a few days to notice. Fill your garden sprayer with straight, undiluted white vinegar and take aim at the poison ivy leaves and crowns. Other sites say to heat the solution with salt and add dish soap. All the articles mention it will take time, possibly a week and you might need to reapply. So maybe this would work but probably not as quick as you would like and not in one application. I would buy something better that works faster.

Answer:	Reading the label on mine, it says to allow it to dry first before allowing pets, etc.. Around it,, mine is usually dry within an hour or less.. I have 2 dogs, I even spray my dogs pen and I've had no trouble out of it. I spray mine and its dry pretty fast cause you don't have to saturate the weeds or grass, but on the side of caution I would give it already an hour before they was to play in that grass.. Answer:	Well, yes and no... If the container is not exposed to direct light and is sealed, there really is an unlimited shelf life. There certainly is no expiration date on glyphosate. You may find times of 24 or 36 months on packages and in the MSDS, they are written because the company that made/ packaged the chemical tested it over that period of time and found it to be stable for that long. If they had paid a research team to watch it for a decade or 25 years, they would have found it to be stable over time as are most salts. The half life of glyphosate is about 90 days so if you leave it open, allow light to break it down etc. you will reduce its effectiveness. Also, glyphosate could care less if it is frozen or too hot, that is the OTHER stuff like the surfactants that crap out and take the glyphosate out of solution. Bottom line? Keep it in a cool dry place and you can use it up over the next few decades!

Answer:	I Just used a Chapin 362 hose end sprayer to apply this to my yard. I put in 5 ounces of 41% Glyphosate, 1 ounce of Southern Ag Surfactant for Herbicides Non-Ionic (from here on Amazon), and 2 ounces of blue marking dye, although after applying, 1 ounce of marking dye was sufficient.. I definitely would not recommend using a sprayer like this without the dye because of the way the spray deflects into the fan. The dye will show you where you spray heavy and light, and using the dye showed me where I had to go back and touch up, which was basically the center section of the fan spray for each pass. This was enough to treat roughly 1,000 sq. ft. I used a setting of 4 tablespoons per gallon. I meant to go a little higher because the surfactant and dye, and the glyphosate is a little thicker than water so it would draw a little slower, but I think the #4 setting worked out fine. I plan on going back in about 10-12 days and do another application as recommended by a lawn care professional, then rent a sod cutter and cut down a couple of inches and just flip my soil over 180 degrees, then put some Scotts Top Soil with Starter Fertilizer down on top with my Zoysia seed and see what kind of results I can get. Or I may just scalp the top 1 inch to try and level my soil since Zoysia is cut at about 1 1/2 inches to 2 inches, so it will make scalping easier on uneven surfaces.

Answer:	I am sorry but all the calculations listed are incorrect. 41% means 410 mgs per MILLILITER. 1 Oz = 29.5735 ml = 12,125.135 mgs of glyphosolate salt. 1 gallon = 3,785.41 ml. So, based on that, if you add 12 oz with water to make a final 1 gallon mix, you will get 3.84% glyphosolate. 6 Oz + water to make 1 gallon mix will have 1.92% glyphosolate (close to Ready to use Roundup). The gentleman in question added 5 tbsp to 1.2 gallons. So he added 75 ml = 2.536 Oz to 4,542.49 ml (1.2 gallon) of water with a final volume of 4,617.49 ml containing 30,750 mgs of glyphosolate = 0.6659 % Final concentration, which will kill NOTHING.
