Answer:	In what I’ve read before, 6-8 weeks. At that point you should wait until fall, which is there ideal grass time in most climates. About 3 years now I’ve been applying this strategy and find my grass is greener than all the neighbors. There is one neighbor who has a thicker lawn but he has a different slope in his yard and has been at it much longer. I will overtake him!

Answer:	I have Poa Annua and have been doing a lot of research on it. Many websites with information about Poa Annua say for effective control, besides Spring treatment it is good to put pre emergent down in August/September. Here is a quote from the Purdue University Extension website: "Poa annua is a winter annual that germinates in the late summer/early fall once soil temperatures fall below 70o F. Seedlings mature in the fall, overwinter in a vegetative state, and flower and produce seed in late spring and early summer." I just chatted with Scott's website and they said this product can be effective when used in this manner. I plan to apply it then AND next Spring. Most of the lawns in my development have been taken over by Poa Annua but I am still fighting the fight and hope to win or at least keep it to a minimum.

Answer:	The Turf Builder Bermudagrass watersmart plus coating is not phytosanitary certified.

Answer:	No. Go with fescue seeds for shade. Besides, Bermuda seeds have very low germination rate.
Question:	Can I use it up north
Answer:	Bermuda grass needs full sun and wont really take off growing rhizomes until temps reach 80+ for a week or more. Also, night time temps should stay fairly warm. If you live in an area where this is not the case purchase fescue. I live in central NC and it grows well but just an hour or so west from here it is too cool to be a good performer.
Question:	How many square feet will this cover
Answer:	A five LB bag will cover 5,000 square feet -- so they say. But, it depends on how you spread it. DO NOT attempt to spread it if your SOIL TEMPERATURE is less than 70 degrees. Get a soil temp gauge. And even then, you still have to water it with a light spray every hour. I tried it at 64 degrees, and it just didn't do ANYTHING until it got up to 70 degrees. Good luck with that.

Answer:	Hi, I am so I can't give you percentages of mix. The seeds are covered with a blue coating of fertilizer, which stays on for about 5 days even watering 3 times a day. This also keeps the birds from eating 20% of it. This is the 5th bag I have ordered as I have 1/3 acre of all weeds and dirt when I recently bought my house. It is an excellent blend and covers very well and spreads out and fills in. I have large areas that get 90% shade and it grows almost as fast as the seeds in full sun. Very happy with this seed. Answer:	No. The grass is similar to a winter rye grass that that does OK in the cooler winter months, but died in Texas as soon as it got hotter and dry. I would not recommend this grass for any southern hot and dry climate.

Answer:	The Cat Grass seeds will sprout, but they may not fully grow! I would recommend putting them in some sort of growing medium.

Answer:	No ropes In mine just suction cups that are worthless. I knew that going in. I had my own twine and used command hooks.

Answer:	You can use a Scotts Drop Spreaders available thru amazon, that is what most folks do. I hand throw mine, but I have had years of experience and do it well. I'd say, for you, buy a spreader.

Answer:	Well, I'm not sure. I had not noticed it. I am a firm believer in Scotts products . I have seen the transformation of my yard from weed forest when we bought our home to luxury lawn. So I use them every year. I do go to the manufacturer site each year to assure I am using the right products at the right time. They may provide the information you want. I then go to Amazon to buy the product.

Answer:	Others are wrong.I use this every two months.my scotts mini broadcast at 2.5 setting.my yard is thick and lush.I also have St Augustine grass.st Augustine likes water but not sitting in it for long periods.it also likes fertilizer.I found the starter applied in the spring and the southern after that the rest of the year works fantastic.Do not use bonus s fertilizer.neighbors have had terrible results with that.As Efraim said do not go by recommend settings.go by half recommend setting.I found 2.5 best on broadcast scotts spreader.also use a liquid weed killer for Augustine grass and only treat problem areas.the grass will grow in thick and choke out future weeds.also at least once a year use a fungicide.scotts disease ex works great.all my neighbors have brown spots i do not.remember here in houston we have very sandy soil so fertilizers dissipate into soil quickly.other areas may require less fertilizing intervals as soil retention may be better.

Answer:	With the varying models, it is hard to say without detailed information. Performing a web search of your Scotts spreader model should provide setting recommendations. Key in on tall fescue seed settings. We typically recommend about 8-10 pounds of seed per thousand square feet.
Question:	What is the harvest date or best use or expiration date of this bag of seeds ? I want to be sure that I get fresh harvested seeds
Answer:	Good afternoon. Thank you for reaching out. Grass seed does not have best by or expiration dates. The blends and mixtures have Test Validity dates from the time they were packaged. Our current inventory of this item were packed in June 2020 using fall 2019 grass seed. 2020 crop will not be cleaned and ready to package until late this fall. The test validity period is different for each state, anywhere from 7 - 18 months after which the product must be retested to verify the germination of the seed. I hope this answers your question.

Answer:	Yes, perfect for the DC area. Green's up very early and will stay that way all summer long. Very drought tolerant.

Answer:	I don’t think so - 4 SC Select has a main active ingredient called Mesotrione you you need a selective herbicide containing clopyralid or triclopyr,

Answer:	White clover is listed as a weed controlled both pre and post emergent. Large hop clover is only controlled in post emergent applications.
Question:	Will this kill Nimblewill
Answer:	Nimblewill is controlled by Meso4 SC but will require a second application. I have Copied a portion of the manufacturer's label below: WEEDS CONTROLLED USING POST-EMERGENCE APPLICATION: Make a second application of Meso 4 SC Select 2-3 weeks after initial treatment. For optimal control add a NIS-type surfactant and apply to young, actively growing weeds.
