Question:	Is this nozzle lead free, bpa free, and pthalate free
Answer:	The manifold you asked about does have shut-off valves on each port. However, this manifold is not made for orbit systems with timers. This manifold does not have a place to mount the automatic timer unit. I purchased this manifold to use with an orbit automatic timer system and had to make some "modifications" to get it to hold the timer unit. Hope this helps.

Answer:	It’s made of brass. I believe the inside is as well. Works pretty good. Wouldn’t recommend on a leaky faucet though, the plastic turn handle begins to strip.

Answer:	I dont know but mine broke after a month of use. The insert that goes into the sprayer keeps popping off. I'm very disappointed because it was great for the first month that I bought another which is on its way but I guess I'll be returning it if this is what happens.

Answer:	It's effectiveness in any situation is predicated more on the quality of the soil. If the ground is rock hard, it will have difficulty with anything as it's a lightweight tool. If the ground is fairly soft, the tines will cut about 2" into the topsoil, enough to crush and turn the weeds under the ground.

Answer:	Not sure I understand the question but while I have had a great experience with this product, and the stream mode is somewhat high pressure, it is essentially for a garden or yard. If you are looking for another purpose, then you likely need an high pressure water too which is something entirely different

Answer:	Sure. The are multiple flow patterns and you can control the amount of water that flow through the nozzle. You should be able to find a pattern and flow rate that meets your needs.

Answer:	The stream/shower is controlled by the bezel where the water comes out. The on/off is toggled by your thumb.

Answer:	The male and female fittings are standard 3/4" couplings, coarse thread.

Answer:	The throttle, for want of a better word, can be opened just a bit for seedlings. This would be in the spray position as opposed to the jet setting. Still, be careful.

Answer:	It should work fine. I think USA hoses are standardized & have the same size fitting - 1/2" is the size of the flexible part of the hose.

Answer:	The Gilmore unit probably is made from brass with a bit of lead in it. I'm a very experienced mechanical engineer and I have a hard time seriously considering those cancer warnings because of leaded brass. In a world with real risks of injury, death & cancer ... a leaded brass device for use in the garden seems pretty inconsequential.
