Answer:	I have used the device now for a few weeks. About 4 inches or so of engine compartment wiring that was chewed cost me $500. I have heard of worst damage that includes a car being totaled. My answer to you is YES! Put an additional device into the car too. Why not? That's what I have been doing in the hopes that if adds to the effect. If you have children and don't vacuum your car interior everyday, there is food on the floor. If the mice have an entrance to the inside of your vehicle, they will find it. So far my car has not had another attack. I have deployed a couple of other deterrents so I can't be !00% sure which is the most effective, but I am not taking any chances. If you have played the sound with the button that allows you to hear what the mice hear, you gotta think .... no mouse is going to enjoy that. Not when there's dozens of other cars in the neighborhood without that level of disturbance :) I will add that I thought my batteries would go out after about 60 hours worth of use and I was tracking the time. But it just keeps going and going. Having multiple devices is like back up if you label which one to expect to go bad first. I keep the freshest one in my engine. Oh, and I wouldn't count on neighborhood cats to protect your car. Unless they are perched on your tires all night, every night, mice will know when they aren't around. Answer:	The water would really have to be loaded with the chemicals you mention. Don't understand rust, rust is from iron. The hose does not cost much so get it a try.

Answer:	Since this is a soaker hose, it doesn't have an end piece like rubber hoses. I can't tell the size, but I suspect it is half-inch. Also, if you need to make ANY angles in the hose at all - the water pressure at the end of 75 feet will be about nil. The shorter ones, in a straight line, are the best bet - just my opinion.

Answer:	The cardboard packaging that came with the hose only says "Made In USA". Check the Dramm website and it may tell you where in the USA they are located or a contact number. I have found that this hose does tend to kink more with age - but no more than any other hose. It is definitely excellent quality.

Answer:	Interesting question! This is new "news" to me. I have double-length hose + nozzle coiled outside on west side of building with some daily sun exposure. So far, no cracking, fading, or kinking but also no direct long-term exposure to hot sun. I'd check with manufacturer in Manitowoc, WI 920/684.0227. Good Luck!

Answer:	This is not a potable water hose. I have two sections here in Washington that have been in service for years and still are excellent. I have one new section on my boat in Hawaii and it seems to be holding up well. Just don't drink out of it. Get a potable water hose and use a filter.

Answer:	Yes, The timer has 3/4 inch hose thread. If you were going to use it on the end of a pipe, there are adapters to get from hose to pipe and vice versa. As far as I know, Orbit does not have the adapters, but Home Depot, Lowes or most any hardware store sells them.

Answer:	I personally prefer brass connectors, plastic have the potential to crack or ruin the connecting threads if they are not properly aligned; my personal experience.

Answer:	Not sure. But it is light weight enough for you to unscrew and store in garage in-between uses. But I suspect if you are using it often enough the continuous detachment and attachment will wear the rubber washer used to prevent leaks.

Answer:	Mine just sprang a leak as well; purchased in late April of 2020. I am the only one who uses it, I always drain the water and store properly, it does not come in contact with anything that could cause a leak, particularly as this hole is near the top of the hose that connects to the outside faucet. It is past my return date window. I can not find any info on the guarantee from this company either - it is one big circle of clicking - no website. Very disappointing. Not a cheap hose............I love everything about it except that it only lasted less than 4 months. If anyone has info on who to contact please post.
