Answer:	It's Vinyl and nylon cord, so it has to be leadfree. I do not believe they sell any hoses today that contain lead.I bought this hose because it is a full three-quarter inch inside diameter which lets me fill my hundred gallon horse trough in less than 10 minutes.

Answer:	This is a very well built hose. I have never used it as a suction hose but unless you are sucking a large vacuum, in my opinion, I would think it would not collapse. Hope this helps....

Answer:	This hose should work fine to connect your pressure washer to your water supply, provided your water supply is itself under enough pressure to keep the hose from collapsing and to avoid starving the pressure washer. My house water system delivers 35 psi at the pressure washer inlet. For the pressure washer discharge, this hose will not work. You would need a special high pressure hose meeting the discharge pressure specification for your particular pressure washer system.

Answer:	This product will work for your application and has a 500 deg. temp rating with excellent bonding power, however, I think it is a bit over kill, I would use the Permatex 80016 adhesive because it is a one part adhesive that is easier to use and still has a 400 deg temp rating.
Question:	What is difference between flexogen 10 series and 20 series
Answer:	I wouldn't trust it for such an application. If it's copper, you'd do better to sweat the pipes and actually solder the connection. If you're not familiar with how to do so, you can always get P2C (push-to-connect) fittings that will do the trick and be a much simpler solution versus soldering the connection.

Answer:	i was told by an appliance parts store owner that high temp silicone is used often on dryer seals(felt), and that it works well. As someone who has used it in my trade for decades, the worst thing about it is it is difficult to remove when cured, such as when replacing a seal again.

Is this a magical hose? the description says it is "manufactured in china" and also "made in usa

Answer:

I have no idea where it was actually manufactured. Most likely parts were made in one place and it was assembled in another. As to the "magic hose," I've never seen one that lives up to the "won't kink" promise but this one is as close as any I've owned. I live in SoCal which means it's never tested by freezing weather but in temps sixty degrees or higher it remains very pliable and I can generally "unkink" it from wherever I happen to be without having to walk 75' back to the problem. All things considered I'd have to tare it a solid thumbs-up and say that I'd buy another if needed. Finally, I want to add that it's VERY important to use plumber's tape around the hose bibb because I did have a problem with the two different types of metals in the bibb and the hose basically welding themselves together so that even my handyman couldn't unscrew it when he was here for other jobs. In the past I've had the identical problem with other hoses both at the bibb AND with the the male end of the hose when attached to a metal nozzle for an extended period of time. I'm told that happens because the source of our water is heavily laden with minerals that interact with the different metals and tape is a lot less expensive than another hose! Hope this helps.

Answer:	Since this is a soaker hose, it doesn't have an end piece like rubber hoses. I can't tell the size, but I suspect it is half-inch. Also, if you need to make ANY angles in the hose at all - the water pressure at the end of 75 feet will be about nil. The shorter ones, in a straight line, are the best bet - just my opinion.

Answer:	The listing says shipping weight is 17 pounds. I just emptied mine (the 75 foot one) of most of the water and weighed it and the result was 18 pounds 9 ounces - probably some water still in. Also the fitting at the faucet end is fairly heavy duty. That's about 4 ounces per foot. Add in just over 2 ounces per foot for the water. So holding a few yards of it off the ground is no bother at all. I have no trouble dragging all 75 feet of it around the yard and it is so flexible I can easily wind it over the wall hanger in large loops without it getting twisted. My wife was able to lug it around too. It is lighter than professional hoses but probably heavier than cheap ones though they give more trouble because of kinking and snagging etc.
