Answer:	The "2016 Garden Hose Study" of the Ecology Center (MIchigan), which tested several hoses, rated the Flexzilla as low for lead, medium for chlorine, and HIGH for phthalates. It was given the negative label of a "high overall level of concern."

Answer:	No such thing as a stupid question. I have this hose running off my main spigot. It's a great hose! At the end of this hose I use brass connectors so I can easily attache and switch out a sprinkler, another hose, soaker hose, etc. I use Gilmore Quick Connect 2Pc, which I purchased on Amazon. You'll need the 2Pc, one for each side. You should be able to use the connectors to make it an extension.

I know it is probably the easiest hose to handle and use that I have ever owned, just bought another one. When I used my previous kink less hoses, it was like wrestling with a 20 foot python!! Answer:	Not sure about the diameter inside the hose itself, but the metal (aluminum?) connectors are both bored out to about 1/4" which accounts for the jet of water that shoots out of the hose when there is no sprayer attached. At a water pressure of 60 psi (typical house), the flow through the hose is a little over six gallons per minute. At a water pressure of 87 psi, the flow rate is almost ten gallons a minute.

Answer:	I've had mine for 4 years in Maine, if that answers to extremes in temps, from -10 to +85 in the course of an average year. These hoses have held up remarkably with little extra care. We keep them in the unheated garage at the end of summer season. I just got mine out this week with temps in the 40's-50's and they seem as flexible as ever. Made in USA, brass fittings are durable, the color stays fresh with no fading so far, and it's lighter-weight so it virtually never kinks, is easier on plantings if you drag it over/through them by mistake, and I find these perfect for gardening/lawn watering. (We do use a regular diameter hose for car washing to get the higher pressure.) Just came by amazon to pick up 2 more hoses by this maker; highly recommend.
Question:	Is this hose simple to wind up when you are finished and how small does it wrap up? Need to store it in house daily during winter for farm chores
Answer:	This product only helps that problem by being lightweight which makes coiling definitely easier. Brand new this hose will be sticky, you have to let it sit out to lose its stickiness. I have both a 100' and a 50' that I connected together. I've considered buying a hose reel for it, as All my other hoses I've felt the need for a hose reel but not really on these yet.

Answer:	The Original Metal Garden Hose is made with 304 Stainless Steel which is extremely durable and contains Nickel and Chromium giving it its corrosion resistant properties. We do not use 201 steel as it is does not contain the higher levels of corrosion resistant properties and is therefore less durable and less resistant to corrosion.

Answer:	Although the hose is tested at the factory in excess of 120 psi for quality control, it is designed for normal household pressure of 60-80 psi. It is not recommended to use this or any garden hose on a high pressure application such as the high pressure side of a pressure washer.

Answer:	I can get the hose onto my faucet but when I take it off the pressure of the water squirts out and I get wet. You might want to try to get an attachment with a smaller one end and a larger opening on the other end. You might want to go to Lowes or Home Depot and take the hose with you.

Answer:	The DHC-E 8/10 is actually two models in one - it has the added advantage of select-able power output of 7.2 kW (Stage 1) or 9.6 kW (Stage 2) during installation via a jumper. There is no "Stage 1.5" for a 8 kW setting. If you want the DHC-E 8/10 unit to work at up to 8 kW, you should put the jumper into the Stage 2 slot for 9.6 kW. The DHC-E unit will only work as hard as it has to, never overheating the water. Advanced microprocessor technology ensures that the water temperature doesn't deviate from the set point even if flow varies.

Answer:	I called the technical support number and asked your question. They said that you should disconnect the water supply and hot sides. Then it would be best to use a shop vac to blow air through the unit from the cold water supply side and that you could also add the pink anti-freeze to the unit. Answer:	Depending on the pump, yes it can. It clearly says this hose can handle up to 70 psi and can pump 4.5 gallons per minute. I have a Shurflo 4008 pump. It puts out a max 55 psi and 3 gallons a minute.

Answer:	I just talked to company to find out about their hoses. They said the base material for all their polyurethane series are all the same.

Answer:	Certainly heavier than the usual hose. I am 84, so everything's heavier than it used to be. My biggest complaint, is that it is so tightly wound, it is really hard to gert it stretched to more than 25 feet and it's fighting it all the way. You can not use a sprinkler at more than 15 feet at the most, because the moment you let go, it starts sort of bouncing back to its original "spring" form. It would be nice in a greenhouse. It is of high quality. That's the only good thing I have to say for it.
Question:	Is this hose safe to use with running hot water like the 400 series is
Answer:	It retracts exactly as the picture shows with a bend in the middle and fits in a bottom of a laundry basket.. So total length when coiled is about 3 feet

Answer:	Not if coiled. The label says you can connect up to 500' of hose without suffering uneven water dispersal. Maybe this is true for straight runs, but when I tried connecting three 50' sections together and coiling it around 9 bushes (two 24"dia coils per bush), the second 50' section had half the flow of the first, and the third section had half the flow of the second section (ie 1/4 of the first section). So coiling the hose seems to greatly decrease the flow. I did not try uncoiling the hoses.
